Should be a good game. Aird vs Tres will be the match up to watch. We should be able to get quite a few Weber folk to this game. If you have a pass of all passes you get free admission into this game.. Or at least that is how I understand it. Go Cats!

It's been so long since we had a game, I almost forgot we had a basketball team anymore. I hate how we have only played 4 games when everyone else has played at least 7-8. I know scheduling is hard, but this is sad. Oh wait we have 2 home games coming up soon against St. Katherince College and Northern New Mexico. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the time we have conference games get here, I wonder if anyone will care about the team anymore or have any excitment. I'm sorry, its Monday, I'm at work, we are 1-3 and its as cold as a Mother In Laws Hug outside. We should beat the living crap out of UVU, but since we only play a game every 10 days, we will be rusty I'm sure and probably lose or win by only like 3 points. At least my other favorite team is going to a bowl game for the first time since 2003. New Mexico Bowl baby. GO COUGS!!!!

A quick nugget of info that I came up with. 95% of the teams in D1 have played 7 or more games. Weber and Louisiana Monroe have played 4 games. Montana has played 5 and SUU has played 6. I really hope we can play with some intensity tonight.

It's a new season. Lets start it off with an exhibition win tonight. It will be good to have these two exhibition games under our belt before we take on UCLA for our season opener. I'm excited to see how our freshmen will do in their second season. They are not rookies anymore. It's also good to hear that our seniors will get an extra season of eligibility.

Ha! @WeberHQ just Tweeted this and it busted my freakin' sides.
"Sources: Weber State is playing in a basketball contest tonight."

Gameday!! Huh...Weber plays games?

Next years OOC will be a 1000x's better than this one. The Cats will have USU, BYU, UVU, Oral Roberts, CSU and UTA (I'm guessing it'll be made up next year), and the Virgin Islands tournament. 9 DI OOC games (I think the Paradise Jam is a three game tourney, right?)...what'll Wildcat fans do? This isn't counting the usual two queefcakes Weber plays. 11 game OOC...will there also be a money game in there too? 12 game OOC...HOLY SMOKES!! I don't wanna dream or anything.

As for tonight...Weber wins a close game in Orem. First time in Orem in 8 years. I'm glad Weber and UVU are playing each year. Make sense...it is a close DI game.

I think it will be close in the first half. Then in the second half I think our guys will remember what a real game feels like and pull away. Weber wins by 16 points tonight against Uncle Dick and UVU.

Well, hard to blame WSU in this one, considering they haven't had any real opportunities to gel, courtesy of this ridiculous schedule. However, that may have been the single worst game (at least offensively) I've ever seen Tres play. He was completely out of sorts. We got good production off the bench, but too many careless fouls, especially out of Hill. I effing hate losing to UVU! Ugh!!!! :wall:

How does this team continue to get beat on the glass? It cant be from a lack of practice time.
I dunno, but it's maddening to watch. I will say that at least in this game, there seemed to be a ton of lucky bounces that fell right into the arms of UVU players for easy offensive boards. Thus the plethora of second-chance points.
