Check from Utah, Eagles are picked by both Media/Coaches Poll, to finish 1st. Nice to be receiving all the accolades this early. We are going to be the "Bulls Eye" for all other teams, I know we can handle it. We just need to keep our calm, and take each game one at a time, as we have always done in the past. Montana and Montana State are 2 & 3. Vernon was in Utah representing the University/Eagles. Go Eagles!!!!! Vic Wallace

Very good article. I beg to disagree with Vernon. I remember the turnaround against SHSU when he started playing. I remember the only time we didn't score against Oregon State was when he was not playing. The guy is a game changer, that is for sure.
Vernon was very humble in that article. However, I have to give props to the Portland and the Southern Utah player for showing a ton of class and humility. Personally, I would be a little insulted if I was given an interview about a team that I am likely to lose against the next season. Those guys had nothing but positive things to say regardless if they were odd people to ask those questions from. :thumb:

Better defense in either semifinal game the last two years and EWU advances.
Does VA make a bad throw or two per game, absolutely. But how many times does he make a play out of nothing?
Agreed the overthrow to Kupp last year would've clinched the Towson game, as well as red zone mistakes in the first half. They still scored 31 points which should be enough to win at home.
