vs. Cal Poly: Official GDT

What's scary is that we're going to have to run the ball some more just to give our defense some rest. I would like to see a little more play action off of that.
 
Coach B is talkng about limited possessions.... Get a stop or two and double the possessions. Thought D was starting to get it, then... need to get off blocks.

Anyone think CP matches up physically with EWU?

Should be an interesting 2nd half.

Was thinking PA too.. CP still owned TOP by 5:30 minutes... not the worst we have seen.
 
Our coaching staff is one of the best at making adjustments at half. We're sitting ok...it can only get better (if not more fart gifs coming)!!
 
Your not a run first team, you score with the pass and thats the identity, Just a serious head scratcher as to how EWU approaches their games this year. Defense is and has been non-existent these past few years, changed coaches this year ? not really, they just moved Graham into the booth, he still makes the d call,just like Best as the OFC, Baldwin still calls the game !!!! Really pissed right now that we cant even stop anybody and on a day where up to now theres been no West to Kupp connections !!!! grrrrrrrrrrr
 
The D showed some life towards the end of the half and is starting to settle in some. As crazy as this sounds, I think we're going to see them make some stops in the 2nd half. I predict we stop them on their 1st possession, and this game starts to do a 180. :D

I hear ya, but Cal Poly is taking the pass away. We're going to have to continue to run the ball until they start putting more into the box.

i was pissed when we threw out out route to the sidelines when we were deep in our own territory and only needed 2 yards to get a 1st down!!! we already had one of those picked off in the UNI game.

Yup. We're not outmatched by any stretch of the imagination. The D just needs to nut up some and make 2-3 stops and we'll be ok. The offense executing better in the second half is a given. We are a second half team. :thumb:
 
Looking around FCS in general, this is a wide open year for the Natty. Think NDSU won by 3 over UNI and CAA and Southland seem to be in disarray. Coastal Carolina? Jax St? Wide open.
