The first team is solid. Their offense is their best defense. They can make some noise in the playoff's against teams that can't shut down their passing game and get pressure on Maier. Chance they might get another shot at the Eags depending on how seeds and things lay out..
 
EB3 handled the early pressure very well and made several good throws and once the OL woke up it was lights out.. Lots of love to go around. HC Best has come a LONG way and showed real leadership on the sideline today in a big time game. Super happy for him and the team. It never hurts to have the superior squad.

For sure. Mauling the #4 team in the country hy almost 40 points is no small feat. I haven’t seen that kind of performance for a while. Even their game against Stanford was more competitive.
 
That was AWESOME!! So proud of Coach Best & the seniors! EB3 looks VERY comfortable back there & it looks like he’s getting that confidence that’s so, so important for QB’s to have. The defense just said NO! to UC Davis today, Nzuzi Webster, Ketner Kupp & Ojoh among others, looked like superstars out there. Great win & GoEags!

The box score has EWU with 687 yards of offense? Is that correct??? I only saw the end of the game.

We had 669 yards of offense. 372 net on the ground and 297 passing.
 
Drive over from Seattle and don't believe what I just saw. Can't remember a more dominating 3 quarters of ewu football vs a Top 10 team.

Now, maybe their not deserving of their ranking, but Dang!
 
Took a peek over in the UC Davis board and there’s some heartburn on that last TD we scored. I guess we could have just kneeled it but it’s not like we had the first team in there. Frankly, after last year’s BS playoff snub I’m ok with leaving no doubt.

I dont exactly “like” it when it happens to us but it doesnt make me mad either. If you dont want more points scored on you coach better, or recruit better. Berriere needs all the experience he can get. Having him take a knee in those sort of situations doesnt give us that.

After the playoff snub last year we should continue to push it....and it’s not like we threw it all over the place, it was our only pass of the game after going up 38-20...

Good point. Seems we ran the ball almost the entire 4th quarter.
