Really just a dominant performance in all phases.

For sure. Mauling the #4 team in the country hy almost 40 points is no small feat. I haven’t seen that kind of performance for a while. Even their game against Stanford was more competitive.

Most dominating game I've seen us play since Richmond in the 2016 playoffs... but they were without their starting QB. Davis wasn't.

Go Eags! Anyone here old enough to remember the original “fog bowl?”

Sure do. Believe it was circa 2004 against none other than UC Davis. Erik Meyer went off in that game.

Thought it was 2005. Jesus I'm getting old.

You’re right. They actually mentioned the game and the year in the broadcast.

Took a peek over in the UC Davis board and there’s some heartburn on that last TD we scored. I guess we could have just kneeled it but it’s not like we had the first team in there. Frankly, after last year’s BS playoff snub I’m ok with leaving no doubt.

I dont exactly “like” it when it happens to us but it doesnt make me mad either. If you dont want more points scored on you coach better, or recruit better. Berriere needs all the experience he can get. Having him take a knee in those sort of situations doesnt give us that.

Doesn’t irk me...if Davis wants to troll us like they did last week then I guess we had to #leavenodoubt.

After the playoff snub last year we should continue to push it....and it’s not like we threw it all over the place, it was our only pass of the game after going up 38-20...

Good point. Seems we ran the ball almost the entire 4th quarter.

Not sure what precipitated the last pass, Davis seemed to be a little chippy late after playing pretty clean most of the game. Eags were definitely more physical throughout. Coach Best was pumped up on the Larry post game show, maybe even a bit agitated and he mentioned "leave no doubt" a few times. He REALLY didn't like being characterized as the underdog in this contest. I for one loved that a kid listed as a DL catches a TD late. Go Eags.

That was my freshman year. I actually missed it because I was told it was delyed. I was heading to the PUB for lunch and heard the cannon fire. I was pretty pissed that I missed it.
