+1, Proud to be an Eagle fan
Agreed. No shame in losing to a better team when you your tails off. I just pray a letdown doesn't occur when we get back to playing Weber.... FWIW, I think Weber is decent. They were still in the game with BYU until it got blown open in the 4th quarter.if our intensity remains high, we'll dust them. But if we come out sleepwalking, they're good enough to embarrass us.

This is my concern as well. We seem to Really get up for games against these regional Pac-12 schools, and the team takes it really hard when we lose. I don't want a repeat of last season where we went to USD and got beat up by an inferior opponent.

This is why I am glad we have the bye going into Weber. The team needs to flush this game and take it one game at a time. Our guys will have two weeks to prepare, get some guys healthy, and really game-plan this one. I really think we have the team to beat anyone in the FCS this year, but we can't take anyone lightly. 1-1 is still a great start to the season. The offense will get better, but like Kalm said I still really like what we're doing running the ball and when Bronson gets back I think it'll be even more effective even though both backs were impressive in the first two games. In Big Sky play I think our defense will be good enough to win some games while the offense finds its way.

:ohno: :ohno: :ohno:

We were maybe a combined FOOT, maybe less from being 2-0 against the Pac-12 in the last two years.
