I am really enjoying this thread. I agree absolutely with Bears2003 that we suck but I also agree with the optimists that we'll be allright--it is just a matter of when.

I agree with UNCfootballrules and am just happy to see people posting who feel passionately about the subject.

I think its way to early tom throw in the towel.

UNC has lost to....

Hawaii - #17 in the FBS
Chadron State - MSU fans can relate
San Diego - #23 in the FCS
Northern Arizona - #26 in the FCS

Most schools would be 0-4 right now, you guys are in trouble is you lose to WSU and CSUS, then you are allowed to push the panic button.

I for one was shocked with UNC's performance at NAU, last year UNC lost by 51 at Nottingham, this year they lost by 20 at NAU. Thats improvement fans. Hang in there. There are certain teams in the Big Sky who aren't doing any better

I fully expected us to loose to UH and NAU, and I was prepared for the possiablity that we might loose to CSC and SD, it was the way we played that concerend me. Sure MSU lost to CSC, but they did not get shut-out at home. I also think SD is a much better team than any of us thought they were, we took the non-scholarship to mean sucky. We forgot that the have won their past 20, now 21 home games...

But this team needs to win at least one of the WSU / SacSt. pair and if they drop the other one, it needs to be a hell of a game to convince me that this team has made any improvements.
