I can't blame this loss on the ref's Montana was the more aggressive team from the start of the game. WSU better kick some Bobcat A$$ tomorrow. I Imagine WSU WILL come out tomorrow night fired up.
 
Wow...we got totally homered. 15 fouls to 7 in the second half. A lot of the fouls were ticky-tack too. The Big Sky should really be proud of this game. If I was from UM I wouldn't want to claim this win. Weber shot 10 FTs... YIKES!! Totally one-sided refing. Weber gets to within 10 and all of a sudden four straight fouls on Weber all putting AJ on the line. Ridiculous....
 
Weber made 24 shots 7 three pointers... Montana made 24 shots 6 three pointers... Weber was 6-10 from the FT line and Montana was 21-28... Weber loses by 14 and there are 18 more FT's shot by UM. Its not rocket science. That seems to be pretty clear cut to me. AJ could do no wrong and he spent the entire night at the line. Usually ticky tack hand fouls in the open court.

I will say that the ball movement was terrible and that there were way to many 3's as usual. Hansen missing wide open 3's drives me crazy. Our bigs got eatin alive today.
 
Although Weber did play kinda crappy, evertime the Cats made it close the refs blew a whistle, I have never seen a more one-sided officiated game like this in my life, Weber was not allowed to play defense, ticky-tacks that were not going both ways, I saw Lillard get hammered underneath in the second half, no call. That lurch of a player MOntana has went over Mahoneys back and got a rebound, no call. It was pitiful, I stopped watching it it with about 5 minutes left cause I got tired of watching Montana shoot freethrows. hope those big sky refs are proud of themselves.

Come on Weber, lets rebound and get a win in Bozeman.

Weber may have made as many field goals as Montana, but they missed 17 more than UM. Due mainly to shooting 35% of their shots from behind the arc, Weber only shot 37% from the field. Add to that that they got out rebounded 35-27 and there was little chance of winning this game, regardless of the officiating. This team just doesn't shoot the ball well. They do other things well that usually makes up for their lack of shooting, but that didn't happen tonight. And I give credit to Montana, they are a good team and should be feared come tournament time.
