• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Weber @ Montana

I see your point, and I agree with it. Weber only played hard for 15min. Also, they depended way to much on Lillard last night. Hansen, you can tell, is trying way to hard. He needs to relax and just have fun. However, Weber still should have been in it at the end if it hadn't been for the FT discrepency. Also Weber had a lot of second chance opportunities. But if Weber shoots better...no need to worry about FT's. Way to many open looks missed.

What about State?

This is an even bigger game than last nights game. Weber definitely needs to win. The Cats need to come back to Ogden with a split.

I think as long as, I think his name is, Johansen is held scoreless again, Weber wins big. He was a serious thorn in our sides last year. Keys to the game:

1. Movement: Ball and Team. The guys can't stand around but need to be moving and passing the ball. Thats what they do when they are at their best.
2. Win the rebounding battle: Don't allow second chance opportunities.
3. Drive more to the hoop and get more of an inside outside game going.
4. Get the Bigs involved and keep them out of foul trouble.

For two reasons, I do think Weber wins at Montana St. First, look at how Weber responded to their only other conference loss of the year. Look how they came back after getting soundly defeated by UNC and pummeled N Arizona. In my opinion, that kind of rebound from a loss is a direct result of good coaching. With Rahe's coaching, I see another strong response tonight. And secondly, State just isn't as good as UM, plain and simple. Tonight Weber will be playing a team they are much better than. Sorry Bobcat fan, that's just how I see it (and feel free to call me out if Weber loses tonight). But I do think it will be close because for whatever reason, under Rahe, Weber seems to struggle more against State than any other Sky team.
