Weber St.

Weber seems to have owned us - oh every one has. This is actually a major trap game for Weber though with a game at Montana next week. They will be overlooking the bears here. I am going to say it is closer than I would expect at 35-21.

I wish I could go to this game, but unfortunately for me, I have to go up to Wyoming this weekend and help my family close up the cabin for the year. But I will be listening to it while im working.

GO WILDCATS

Interesting stat:

Northern Colorado now leads the Big Sky Conference in total defense, allowing 350.6 yards per game as well as giving up just 197.7 through the air. On the flip side, Weber State leads the league in offense getting 435.0 yards per game and a conference-best 309.1 in passing.

How do you miss a chip shot FG and then make one from 46yds? Those early mistakes are going to loom huge in this one...

A tough first quarter but the entire team stepped it up for the rest of the game.

A good effort, even the offensive play calling was a bit creative. Still doesn't change much but it was nice to see.

They did step it up, I thought it was going to be a blow out. Losing is never good, but to lose with a players mistake is a lot better than a dumb coaching error, that was a heck of interception grab. Defense played really well, man they were hitting hard all day.

What was up with McBride's shirt? Seriously?

I could not believe the shirt. I couldn't decide if I thought he was a tool for wearing it or if I thought it was kind of cool. I am still not sure.

It doesn't matter how "close" this game might of been, there was no way Weber was going to lose, they were about as flat and disinterested as you can be and still never really were in any real danger of losing.

It's the same old story about being "close" this is year four of that broken record.

But beyond that here are the real world fact, attendance 2,852 and on Altitude for everyone to see (not that anyone was watching).

It's impossible to maintain a program at this level with this little interest from the community.

A change must be made if for nothign else than for the sake of change.

This entire program has a losing mentality and can't get over the hump under the current regime.

All you have to do is look at the over all 4th quarter and over all red zone results.

They keep it "close" but can't get over the hump when it matters and everyone in the community and in the student body knows this and doesn't care.

Apathy like this kills programs.

People aren't mad anymore they just don't care...

He didn't bring any other short sleeve shirts that was comfortable. At least that was what the tv said during the game.

I agree with Blofeld on this one, I am shocked that 2800 were there, they must have counted the band... I watched on BigSky TV and the student section was nearly empty the whole game. At this point we must do something to generate renewed interest in the program, otherwise people will never come back...

PS What was McBride wearing, couldn't see on the BSTV feed?

PPS - We drew a measly 3500 on homecoming, that has to be the lowest since we moved to Nottingham
