You don’t think we have a chance to beat Sac State at home? I’m sure they’d be favored, but I’d hardly call it unwinnable. The only scary game left on the schedule is on the road at Montana. Even watching us stink out a win today, 3 or the last 4 are games on the table.

We're demonstrably better at home for sure. But barring some sort of epiphany in the next week, I just don't know that we're going to generate enough offense to beat them.

Pretty much. If we could have gone 2-2 in our opening 4 games I think it'd be a slightly different story. We really needed to win either the IW or Northern Iowa game. Starting the season 1-3 is always going to be a death sentence for almost any program.

After watching Cal Poly some more, they are light years better than this Eastern team. UNC is the only beatable team left on this schedule, and even that one's probably a 50/50 game. They have a decent passing offense which will prove difficult for us to defend.

Cal Poly has played a lot better in the second half with their backup QB who is more of a passer. It looks like a different offense.

Special teams were fantastic, and the defense did enough. I just cannot fathom how we can win any additional games with this offense.

Bell is a great athlete and can make a lot of plays but he's all of 5'9 and just doesn't have the passing ability to be a real dual-threat against an above average defense. I like him a lot better at running back or slot.

I won’t predict a win, but UNC isn’t some juggernaut. Improved, yes. Signature win? Idaho. That’s about where we are. If there’s one left we can snag, it's them.
