Spot-freaking-on-comment! Any hope offensively next season? When Weber plays solid teams, their defense can't live on the field, especially the secondary; they're too vulnerable.
 
Tough night. I wasn’t expecting a win but from the jump the game was out of reach. I was expecting our defense to be better. They really didn’t make any big plays.
 
Weber has a lot coming back and should be really good next season. But, hard to see anyone beating out NDSU or JMU anytime soon. They're both just on another level.

Yeah, once your team is literally competing for a championship every year I'm sure recruiting gets pretty easy.
 
Disappointing showing tonight unfortunately we got outplayed and outcoached badly. Tonight is the worst called game by our coaches I have seen in a while.
We need to fire Schramm and get a QB for next year our offense was bad all year long with no improvement from the start of the year.
 
Very proud of this team. They competed and played tough. The TD before the half ended any chance, but offense hung in better than I thought...just needed more of that in first 25 minutes. I thought the D was a little off and special teams wasn’t there tonight.

NDSU and JMU are a level up from the rest, but I think Weber State is closing the gap. A couple of plays go different and this would have been a game to the end. To do that in their home speaks volumes.

0 turnovers, 0 penalties, and 0 sacks allowed. And without the TD at the end of the half the final score is probably 23-14. Not a bad showing, to be honest, just seems worse thanks to the 1st quarter. Was a helluva fun season. Can't wait for next season. The schedule is much easier and we should be even better.
 
Great game and tough loss. Hopefully we meet many times in the future. Best of luck going forward and when we visit in the future would enjoy having some beers with you folks.
 
Weber State played a football game on Dec 21. Need I say more? Never in our history, has a team gone this far and accomplished this much. I, for one, am extremely proud of our players and staff. Coach Hill is an awesome man and has done so much for this program, school and community. Thank you!! Thank you WildCats for such an amazing season and for such an exciting run. The future is bright and I feel with Hill our expectations can continue to grow.

James Madison is a hell of a team and program. Good luck in the Championship Dukes. Hope you get another W this year. Looking forward to future contests.

I totally agree. I think the entire coaching staff is great and that we will be even better next year. Onward and upward.

We have the next two months to recruit some diamonds. I feel like we will have another great class. Plus we have all of our red shirt players and returning missionaries entering into the mix. We will be stronger and deeper.

We now have 8 months to plan and implement a strategy to get more butts in seats. That includes a plan to get another 3,000 to 4,000 students out to the games. Shouldn't really be that hard considering that we have over 28,000 students. Also considering that absolutely nothing has been done to get the students out for the past 30 years, any effort at all should get the ball rolling. :coffee:
