No need to be hall monitored. Even though we all want the same thing (a Hornet Win), that doesn't mean we all have to agree with every opinion of every armchair quarterback fan that posts on this thread.

Better it happen here online rather than in the stadium parking lot with a bunch of Hells Angels and Napa teenagers.

Go Hornets!

I agree that we don't always have to agree with opinions. However, there still needs to be discussion in a lively, civil manner. We believe your opinion matters; so do other members' opinions. Therefore, opinions are to be respected, not used to taunt or degrade.

If your goal is to ridicule others, there are of course other websites for that. This is not to say that opinions should not be challenged - that, in fact, is the process by which they become legitimate.

Damn, I don't know where this thread is going, but I for one am glad to have Croxdale on the Hornets, as are most of Hornet Nation.

He is exactly the type of guy Sac State would let slip through it's fingers in the past because he was "too small" only to end up at Davis punishing us for four years. He's smart, a hard worker and a local kid--perfect for what Sperbeck is building.

I don't want any more repeats of JT O'Sullivan, John Faletoese, plus countless others--local kids that we passed on because we liked some kid from Bakersfield whose measurements looked better on paper

Sacto- Take a deep breath and let your hair down. I believe deep down, everyone on this board is a Hornet supporter except for foes. With the success we're having, the Buzz going on over Sac Football, it's hard for some handle and know exactly how to express themselves. There's absolutely NO reason to sensor anyone. Lets kick the F%#K out of Weber so we can keep the party going. OK back to football. Is Smith playing tomorrow?

Why thank you Professor for the dissertation - thus endeth the lesson.

By the way, is this a football blog or a debate team?

Go Hornets!

Go Hornets!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I looked on our board, and the people that have been over there telling me how good your team is have not been there for awhile, so I decided to come and see you here. I have to give you credit, much better then I thought. But if you look at what I said it all came true. Cam, and his two stud WR just beat the hell out of your DB's. Big Tryven Smith ran all over all eight guys you had in the box for an average of over 5 yards a carrier. Thanks for letting us come in and take that game from you. We look forward to seeing you next year.

P.S. I cannot wait to see you in Basketball, we always know that is two wins.

I really do hope that every player that went down to injury gets healthy, you guys are very good, and will make some noise in this conference.

Front5, Cam is one heckuva QB and you guys have a terrific team. Your offensive line is very good and that is why Smith did so well. Congratulations on the win. You guys played very well. We are very young, so I think our guys are doing well, particularly in light of the injuries we have at QB and RB. With Smith at QB and Hilliard at RB, it might not have been quite the same game. Regardless, I expect Weber to have a very good season. Best of luck.

Good game hornets, hopefully your guys can recover quickly from injury, Your coach has the program going in the right direction. Hopefully you can get some guys back from injury and make some noise in Conf. this year.
Best of luck.

Good game Cat,

You guys have a impressive well balanced team, you should be in the mix at the top of the Sky! It was a enjoyable game even though the Hornets came out on the short end. I will be pulling for you guys at Utah! Good luck the rest of the way.

Smith AND Hilliard will BOTH play.

Really???

WH, I was told by a athletic trainer at CSUS that they would both be fine to play on Saturday. I was misinformed, thems the breaks...

I was told by a coach they would not play, well I should say they said Hilliard would not play but were waiting for info on Smith. I guess the rub between us is your statements are made as fact when in reality you are wrong, I bit my lip until you piped off one too many times.
I have coached in this area for many years and personally know many players and coach's, not only in Sac but the Bay Area as well. You rubbed me wrong from day one with your assessment of player personnel that was totally off base and unfounded but stated as fact, Frick frak or who ever he was called you out on one of them and you hit the anger button. I never mentioned it and figured you would be proved wrong in due time, it is happening sooner than I had planned.

BTW... I was in the parking lot at 1:05 waiting on the group hug and you never showed, imagine my disappointment.

I'm assuming that when you're referring to "Player Personnel" you're talking about Jake Croxedale. I told FrickFrack I was holding out my assessment of Croxdale as DI player until he actually played some downs against DI competition. I'd like to see him get at least 50 before I re-evaluate my Spring Ball assessment as FrickFrack so greatly desires. I would love to see him do well.

So far he has 3 rushes for 4 yards, too small of a sample size.

I'm also not quite sure what you mean by hitting the "anger button".

In terms of the facts, I'll admit I was wrong about Smith and Hilliard for this week, but I'm not running around this message board spouting off crap and trying to pass it off as fact. It's a message board and everyone here is giving their opinion, like when you said Croxdale would rush for 100+ yards on Saturday. That was an opinion, not a statement of fact.

Get it?

Whats the matter Peach's, Mommy not hug you enough?? I was not only referring to Croxdale but since you seem fixated on him we can use that for our talking point. You called him a "over weight tackling dummy" and have made reference to the fact that you would tell him this fact to face. From this statement i assume you know him or at least have access to him for this face to face judgment call. I have seen him at the Nike Camp at Stanford and went to two of his HS playoff games, was in the parking lot while Sac State coach's were talking to him. This kid has little if any body fat and is in peak physical condition, can't hide body types at a Nike Camp. He was also a huge impact player for his team on their way to the D-1 section title, I was also at that game.
You are correct that it is a forum and everyone has their opinion, I respect that and would hope to get the same in return. By the way, it was 3 for 4 with a TD!! I have also been vocal about the coach's lack of bench use.

Oh ya... I get it!!

You've definatelty got more access to Jake and have seen him play more, I'm not arguing that. Like I've said all along, I'd love to be wrong and see him do well.

Just curious, what other personel are you talking about?

Ok, I think we've had enough about this game and this thread. Just like we have to put the game behind us, the same with this thread.
