Well we are playing again. I wouldn't be suprised if you win because we don't have much to play for. I hope I am wrong.

It'll be interesting to see if Rahe rests his starters since the conference tourney spots are locked up.

Game Day: Weber State at Portland State

http://www.oregonlive.com/vikings/index.ssf/2010/02/game_day_weber_state_at_portla.html

When: 1 p.m. today

Where: Stott Center (1,500), Portland

Records: Weber State (19-8, 13-2 Big Sky Conference); Portland State (11-17, 6-9)

On the air: TV on CSN (Comcast 37); radio on KPDQ (800)

Probable starters: Weber State -- F Kyle Bullinger (9.1 ppg), C Steve Panos (11.7 ppg, 5.5 rpg), G Franklin Session (10.6 ppg, 6.2 rpg), G Damian Lillard (19.7 ppg, 3.7 apg), G Nick Hansen (9.0 ppg); Portland State -- F Julius Thomas (10.2 ppg, 5.7 rpg), F Paul Guede (5.1 ppg), C Jamie Jones (14.1 ppg, 7.9 rpg), G Melvin Jones (11.6 ppg), Dominic Waters (19.1 ppg, 4.8 apg).

Briefly: With Friday's 98-63 victory over Idaho State, the Vikings locked up the No. 6 seed in the Big Sky playoffs and will open the tournament Saturday on the road against the No. 3 seed Montana State in Bozeman. ... The Wildcats clinched their second consecutive regular-season conference championship Friday when they crushed Eastern Washington 85-57 for their fifth win in a row and 10th in 11 games.

PSU played a hell of a game and looked like the 2008 and 2009 Viks. WSU even played a good game and really didn't rest the starters at all. The conf tourney is gonna be a tough one for what ever teams make it to the ESPN game.

I for one am gonna miss Waters. By far my fav player from another team.

I was flipping between the Portland State vs Weber State game and the USA vs Canada hockey game today. Both games were very entertaining, but only one team I was rooting for (the Viks) won today:

Vikings Knock Off First-Place Wildcats, 84-79

Other than the spotty officiating (again), this was a pretty entertaining game.

Weber capitalized on open 3's due to our zone and was pretty good at knocking them down. Otherwise, we win going away. I hate being in command with about seven to go and then letting them back into it. Oh well, a win over the first place team is a win, and if you were to tell me that we'd win and give up 46% from beyond the 3 line, I'd say you were crazy.

Nice games by the three seniors.

Onto the Seattle game!
