Have very little patient for Bennett’s refusal to go through his progression. Kuntz was breaking out of his route wide open but Bennett already decided to throw it to Grover (and over threw him). Zero touch.

KB makes the game more difficult than what it is. Almost every week, Sac State will have the advantage all the skill positions. Instead of utilizing it, he often elects to make the difficult plays.

That was absolutely PATHETIC play calling by Bobby Fresques on that drive. They couldn’t stop the run. Decided to line up and throw and throw and throw. So so so predictable. He’s gonna line them up and run like 3 straight time next isn’t he.
Sac State had all the momentum and he ruined it by his absolutely terrible play calling.
Then the special team tries to be too cute on a bad weather day. These coaches are the reason why the Hornets are behind.

Honestly, have not seen an Oc call plays to get his OWN offense out of rhythm for about half a decade now.
And AT decided to call a timeout when Sac had the right play for the first down is the perfect cherry on top. Embarrassing.

Gipson, quite frankly I don’t care if he thought it was the end of the half and don’t care how frustrated he was. There is no excuse for that. Major let down to the team right there. That was about as bad a second quarter we could’ve seen and we’re VERY lucky to be within 14.
