It was mostly 2s and 3s on D for that last drive. However, that shouldn't matter, they still needed to get the job done. They seemed to lose focus.SWWeatherCat said:Props to the D, I saw improvement with the secondary even though they've still got a ways to go to compete at last year's level. Too bad they allowed the 'Yotes the last second TD, it would have been a well deserved accomplishment to keep them out of the end zone. They did a great job against a capable offense, especially considering how much time their own offense kept them on the field.
I am digging JDavis but the offense has got to start getting the into the end zone! It does seem like they were making baby steps improvements but they have a long way to go and hopefully sooner rather than later. -1.5 dogs and win by 17, we'll take it and it was great to see this team on the field again in person.
Great temperature, the wind wasn't too much of a factor after the 1st Q, and the sunset was disappointing. Very enjoyable evening none the less.

My observations are your D will keep you in every game in the Big Sky even when your O is lacking.
Lastly, thanks for being great hosts. By far the most respectful fan base we have been around in all my years of traveling with our team. Fun atmosphere and nice people. I sure wished we could’ve tested you more than we did....oh well, time to move on.
In closing your coach is outstanding and really a good person. Keep his wife in your prayers as she is now showing signs of winning the battle of cancer. You’re very fortunate to have them.
Agreed on Josh Davis staying healthy. he looked gimpy by the end of the game.SWeberCat02 said:O has improved every week, but like has been said, need to do much better on 3rd downs and in the red zone.
WRs played much better in the 2nd half. Agreed on Cooley, he's going to be really good.
Josh Davis is Trevyn Smith 2.0. Just like Smith, he's very shifty and great at finding the holes. If he can stay healthy he could break all of Smith's records. He's that good. But staying healthy is my concern. He touches the ball a lot between running, receiving, and returning punts, and takes a lot of hits.
D has also improved every week which should scare every opponent left. The front seven absolutely dominated. Eight sacks, several QB hurries, and two takeaways from that group. Stice gets Conference POW honors. And the DBs looked much better.
Biggest concern for me following this game was the number of players that left with injuries.
WSUWildcat said:As far as Injuries, I saw Parker Preator leave and I don't think he returned. I don't believe Trey Hoskins played at all. Who else was injured?
