I saw we go back to what works. Let Fleming air it out and get the ball into Reed's/Deadder's/Norrise's hands. Montana is coming in real cocky as usual. Let Fleming air it out, put them on their heels and then run smash mouth. I read Fleming is a smart guy and we know he has tons of experience. Hell, I'd let him run some series on a no-huddle and see how it goes.
Last week I was forced to listen to the Weber announcers because of the delay between Hornetsports and BSTV. Pre-game, they said they Weber was going to stack the middle of the field to stop Hilliard because: (1) Hilliard crushed them last year; and (2) their run D was questionable against Utah and they expected Sperbeck to try to capitalize on that perceived weakness. Sure enough (Sperbeck was obviously not listening) we came out and did exactly what the announcers said Weber prepared for all week. Then to make matters worse, we adapted way too late.
If Sperbeck demonstrates the sclerotic playcalling of last week, no chance of pulling it out.
Kadeezy, bro, sorry I dont share the optimism. If we lose tomorrow its hard to envision winning 6 games in a row because MSU on the road is a loss regardless of tomorrow's game.
