Week 7 - vs. North Dakota

Will be interesting to see what size of crowd we get. I'm out of town and would suspect lots of others are, between UEA and the deer hunt.

Portland State up 35-21 over Montana State.

If this continues Im putting my vote in for Portland State as the class of this conference

...or just plain not interested in going.

Fair weather fans interested can watch on KJZZ.

Expect around 5K (optimistic).

Im not usually one to judge uniforms for teams, but Idaho State's uniforms they are wearing today are incredibly ugly

So how many quarters will WSU go before they score a touchdown in the mighty big sky conference???
Remember WSU didn't score a TD the entire Second half or in overtime. Thank goodness that we have a decent kicker

It's not a spread offense when you have TEs and RBs on the outside. The reason the spread works against the defense is because faster WRs stretch the defense. Clark will never spread anything by putting slower TEs and RBs on the perimeter of a spread formation.

Brilliant Denby fair catches on the 4 yard line,,,brilliant!!
Remind me again why is he the punt returner because he hasn't done jack in over 6 games now

Anything less than a 6 win season would be a failure.

I understand that the genius Clark the OC is planning on running the ball down the throats of UND today! I guess he thinks like others of you that WSU has a running game??? He and the rest of you are out of your minds! A team that has a running game doesn't have to punt nine straight series in row in the second half of the Montana game if you really have a running game!

Prediction, Clark tries to establish the run game time and time again and wakes up in the middle of the third quarter and finally realizes WSU doesn't have a run game.

Your crystal ball is dead on so far. The only drive we had sustained was throwng short passes in the flats. So of course we stop doing it and try ramming the ball down their throats. That doesn't work so we try to go with the long ball that has been so effective for us so far with Clark and his pin point accuracy.

For good measure lets try a fake punt and have our punter try to run for a 1st down against the best run D in the conference and then fair catch a punt on the 4 yard line... :wall:
Wow we're lucky to only be down 3-17 at the half.

Cats have gone 4 straight quarters without a touchdown produced by the offense

Zero progress by the offense in over 6 games. What in the hill is Hill doing? Time to take a can of whop azz on Clarke because he sucks

Who called for the effing fake punt? He should be fired. If your gonna try to go for it on 4th down on your own 34 you should at least give it to someone who knows how to run the ball. Set up for a punt and hike it to a RB who might have a chance to pick up 2 yards.

Who keeps putting that insanely stupid Denby on the field to return punts? He fields the ball and tries to run it when he should fair catch it. He fair catches it when even a pop-warner player knows that you don't field a punt inside the 10 yard line. Whoever puts him out their should have their head examined.

But that is not as bad as continuing to play with Clark at QB. What happened to Hill's claim that he wanted to get Shaw into the games to get him some experience? He didn't play in the first half today nor did he get into the Montana game. Why did he waste a RS?

It is obvious that we cannot run on this team without a passing game. Try to pass the ball with a new QB, please.

I couldn't be more frustrated...
