Week 7 - vs. North Dakota

Well...that was a nice comeback win! It wasn't a thing of beauty but it was a win. That's all that really matters. Is Jadrian the greatest QB? No... Does the OC know what he's doing? Not really; yet, here we are 4-3 with 4 to go.

I've been a very vocal critic of Clark too but credit where credit is due, his 2nd half performance was great, so congrats and keep winning.

Agreed, and Weber should have a shot at 3 ugly wins of the 4.

Me three, but it's SClark's play call that often puts JClark in difficult situations. All the dropped passes certainly don't help either. It's exhausting watching the offense keep everything tight and continue running into a wall. Spread it out and give Jadrian some read options if you're gonna insist on taking it at solid run D. The 2nd half play call was considerably better and Jadrian was able to find some success through the air. Gotta give it up AGAIN for the defense keeping the game within reach until the O can figure it out.

5,461 in attendance, not bad considering all distractions including the wet weather.

Quirky BSC note: SUU gets another 44-0 win.....vs. Sacramento St.!

So far, EWU & SUU undefeated in conference play (games that count). WSU in 3rd place. :o

Congrats to Clark, you torn up the worst pass defense in the conference, but a win is a win. Next week 490 yards passing and Heisman voting.

Receivers you beat your quota, 6 dropped passes this week. Livingston 1 WR at WSU will be on the espn low light tape for the wort drop of the week in college football. Why does 85 play? Oh yea because he drops the ball.

Congrats to the run defense of WSU! The only way UNF could win is through the ground and you stuffed every gap all night long. And as usual the defense did their job!!

See you in flagstaff where the pussycats go for 3 in a row.

I think what's most important is JClark can tear up a pass defense. I don't care how it ranks. JClark now has me believing that he can throw. Great win wildcats!

Look, the team is a continual work in progress. The play calls needed to be conservative bcz Jadrian was having trouble taking care of the ball. Clearly there has been a lot of progress in practice and it showed today. Very encouraging. They need to get the ball to the receivers that will catch it. Denby is clearly a go to guy. They gave him a chance and he tore it up. Wilkes is just a great all round player and is the cornerstone of the offense. Keep it up you guys. Just keep building on what you've done and we will do great.

Love the Cat picture Webercat.

Ncaafootball; nobody on this site gives a crap about your so-called "insight." You obviously don't follow this team or its coaches. Heck, you don't even know players names, only numbers. Look, you never find any positive in any win and your ramblinsg are quite over the top. I can't believe I am the first to call out your stupidity and and lack of football knowledge. I think you're just a troll to be honest. I would love for you to never post on here again. You never give credit where credit is due, and you always find reasons to why the other team lost the game and not WSU winning. Examples include; "thanks for playing your backups, thanks for bad play calls, thanks for beating a crappy run/pass defense team ect. ect." Please keep your thoughts and posts to yourself.

Hence why I just ignore him

Thank you for the hospitality shown to our group of UND fans yesterday. With the exception of the final score, I had a great time and enjoyed interacting with your fans. I've been to four Weber football games (yesterday + 2012-2014 openers) and more than a dozen other games (BB, volleyball, softball, soccer, etc.) on your beautiful campus and haven't had one negative experience yet.

Thank you for your kind words, we Wildcat fans pride ourselves in showing opposing fans hospitality, just not the opposing teams themselves :-D

Keep drinking the purple kool aid

I think we all learned a lesson about the spiked purple kool-aid after last year's dismal basketball season. But come on, WSU has won 4 out of 5 games and that is huge compared to the last 2 or 3 years. I think we all can agree that there are some flaws that WSU needs to address but the near future is bright.

ARE YOU FOR REAL? DO you know how many games Weber has won the past three seasons?

6 total!!

With four games left, the Cats have already won 4 games this season. There is potential, and I feel that Hill and company needs to take it one week at a time, that the Cats could end up with 6 wins this season. Is the offense ugly and hard to watch? YES!! Is the QB suspect? Yes!! But is he improving? YES! I don't know who your son or relation is on the team, but have a feeling he isn't getting time. My advice, get over yourself and stop trying to spread the gloom and doom. This team is experiencing success for the first time in four seasons and yes, we have every right to be excited.

TO CATCH A TROLL
We had so much fun calling out the troll on our basketball forum earlier this year I thought we could shed some light on ncaafootball.

Most of their posts come from a home internet connection in New Albany, Ohio. They also post from cell phone registered in Romulus, Michigan. There are also some posts from Westerville Ohio. They are not posting under any other usernames. Most good trolls have 3 or 4 to make their point appear to be more accepted.

Good Afternoon WILDCAT FANS!

Watched scrimmage practice today! Linebacking core look strong and Deep. Interesting what's going on at the QB position. Seems like no one is really stepping up? Hopefully someone will step up next week! Not seeing much a a deep ball game from any of the QB's as well. WSU offense looks the same at the end of spring practice (not very explosive0 . Waiting to see if the offensive coordinator is going to start dialing things up or not?

Freshman group is interesting, couple of guys on the defense looking like serious players, not much from the freshman class on the offensive side.....

They say they were at the scrimmage but the post was from the home IP address in in New Albany, Ohio. At first the posts were positive and excitement about the season. The recent posts have been mostly negative, especially critical of the QB, OC and offense in general.

My first inclination would be that this is a family member of someone on the team. Maybe someone on offense that is buried in the depth chart? I checked the roster and didn't see anyone from the Columbus Ohio area. To me, I think I would rather follow some of the elite D1 football in my backyard, instead of constantly trashing a small Big Sky program that has been gutting out wins.

So ncaafootball, why is someone from Ohio so interested in Weber State football?

I would be shocked if this is him, but we have a former punter in Michigan...that guy who muffed the snap against MSU.

I'm all for opinions on the forum. But the belief that Weber's coaching staffs will make changes based off of what we say...well that is laughable. However, I do wish administration would take a keener interest in what is being said on forums, because it is a pretty good pulse of your fans base.

Despite 6 horrid , recent offensive quarters at home, I really believe they should get 6 wins and think its well within the realm of possibility to get 7. That certainly is something to be excited about regardless of how exhausting it is/was to get there. I've been very down on Jadrian and still see the need for much improvement, however, especially the past few games I've started to realize more clearly that the game planning and play call has made him look far worse than he is. SClark and Hill have to get their stuff together and give him a better chance to excel. We know clearly that he's the guy. It would also help if spot on throws weren't dropped at the rate they have been.

Last thing: I watched this game again and have replayed Denby's reviewed call on the "dropped" pass at least a half-dozen times. I am dumbfounded as to how that could be reviewed and not overturned. My eyes are getting older but I'd have to be blind to not call that a catch.

Just happy to see improvement. I still am not a fan of Jadrian, but if he is the anointed starter than lets open it up and live or die by his arm and legs. At this point in the season, I just want to see the coaches make adjustments and not get out coached on offense.
