Week 8 - @ Northern Arizona

Afalava came to play, several other sure didn't seem to. In addition to Weber being outplayed on both sides of the line, they've got to get out of this habit of not being ready to play; not being ready to match intensity. They've started to play like they need to right out of the gate.

This is gonna be ugly. NAU is just shredding Weber's D and the offense is looking outmatched. This seems to happen every single time I start to get excited about the FB team. :ohno:

Could not have worded this any better. Terrible half. :wall:

I think the broadcasters-- by far, the best in the league-- said Weber has only been in the Red Zone 15 times this season! I realized that the closer Weber gets to the Red Zone, the worse the play call gets-- conservative and predictable. I really can't stand our OC, again (i.e. Hammer).

That (pick, TD) should pretty much do it and end any playoff delusions. I guess we can still hope for a 6 win season.

Sorry for all you Suckers!
Yes even those who were offended by my 72k living the dream in north Ogden comment and tried to shut me down.

Today NAU celebrated their annual tequila rise traditional where all of the bars open up at 5 am in flagstaff for the students. Looks like some of the CATS participated vs the Lumberjacks

Same old sorry crap as every week.

For everyone that talked all week about how thought the CATS defense are?????? Give me a break look what happens when they play a first string QB. I won't use names because they don't deserve it. 21 Johnson gets burned every game and the first half tonight burned 3 times already,,, he really sucks.

As always two drops by the cats receivers in the first half and as in the last two games one dropped in the end zone thanks for making it a hat trick. They keep running 85 on jet sweeps and the wind keeps blowing him to the ground. We are into the 8th game of the season and I am waiting for 85 to make his first block. Must be a lot of pressure on the coaching staff to prove that the four recruits at WR this are not all complete bust.

3 continues to let punts hit the ground and roll 20 yards

So for all of you genius that were talking 6, 7, 8 wins wake up. Montana and UNd were flukes

Enjoy the dream in North Ogden. The cats are fine as long as they play against 3 rd string qbs

Thank you 6 for throwing another TD!!!!opps pic to the house as usual.
Next time maybe 6 should stare down the WR for another five or six seconds before he throws his pic to the house!!!!!

Where are all you genius that said 6 was really improving????

I will give him credit he is consistent!!! Lots of flying ducks and pics to the house as usual!!!

Genius? Six wins is certainly still a real possibility with the last two at home. I've kinda felt that Montana was a fluke and that Weber got lucky with UND but I don't find joy in trying to be an a-hole about it. They've already doubled up their win total of the past three seasons and fluke or not, they've done what they haven't been able to do in 28 years. Hill will be getting a good number of his "mission" recruits in the mix next season so there's no reason to think Weber isn't headed in a good direction.

By the way, who tried to "shut you down?" It seemed more like someone tried to expose you for the clown you are.

3 my main man Denby is studying carpentry at WSU and his hands show it. The ball just bounced off his like a ball hitting a board!!!

so let me get this right, WSU is moving the ball, using the hurry up and the spread and they go back to double TEs???? Then get called for delay of game when you should be running your 2 minute drill??? And your the TE forgets to line up on the line on the line of scrimmage. And then on 4 th down you throw to 85 and he falls down with the breeze of the wind. Ugly. Lumbers jacks running the ball down Wsu throats when it matters most!!! Weber is great when they are down by by 40 and the other checks out.

Lumberjacks running 12!plays in a row no stopping them.
Clarke pic to the house and lumberjacks waking back up in and running it down the throats of WSu in the 4 th quarter was the difference.

Trip was worth seeing the San Fransico peaks covered in snow

Clark is such a terrible QB too. Three times he tried to go big when he needed to keep the drive going instead and just pick up the fetching first down. Then the pick six! Ugh!! Final issues, game prep, time management, play calling, and QB development. Sloppy, absolutely sloppy by Hill and Co. Hill desperately needs to tighten things up!

I don't know tal, according to Hill and Souers, he's a stellar QB. :?

Not Great not Terrible, just Average. Good enough to win against mediocre teams or sometimes good enough to help beat above average teams but not good enough to consistently beat good/great teams. The law of averages has shown us enough of that. So far we can expect; 1/2 of a game to be good and the other half piss poor. It's a process, WSU is moving the right way but it's frustrating to see moments of great play and then inept stagnant play.

Okay, so we probably can all agree that if Weber would have shown up from the get go that the Cats could have won yesterday. They put quite the scare into the Limberjacks after they decided to play. I'm hoping to see Weber play a full game. We aren't the most talented, we struggle mightily in certain areas but, this is a good team. They are well coached and are improving. I just hope we can see them put it all together for an entire game. NAU is good but they aren't great. They were just better prepared, they did have an extra week to prepare.

So, are the Cats totally out of contention for a playoff spot? In my opinion no. Why? Well, they needed to win one game out of either the NAU or Eastern. They still have the game on Halloween.

YES,even I, who never (errr...hardly ever lol) speaks ill will of anyone, got tired of his rants & crap the first post he ever made. Now each time he posts is a technicolor Hurl O Rama. :puke:
What an ass clown :kissass:
He keeps ranting about #85 falling down every time the wind kicks up. The game was INDOORS!
Maybe his writing skills are more suited for the so called "Cheerleader fails" websites. :flash:  :flash:
And let us not forget that "ncaa" stands for No Class At All.

Regrettably, I won't ban someone for stating their opinion. Just ignore it, if you don't like it. I think far too often we ban folks on this forum and in the long run it hurts the level of participation. Some long time members have stopped posting because of past witch-hunts. Now, if he were belligerent, using inappropriate language or harassing other members that would result in a ban.

By the way our starting QBs # is 10, not 6. That is Drew Batchelor who is a sophomore receiver.
