WEEK 9 NORTH DAKOTA

Two questionable PIs, but our QB can be hit seconds after a pass one a blind hit from behind and nothing? Weird...

Poorly reffed second half so far. The series Cantwell went in seems to have killed our offensive momentum.

Can stop bringing in our backup QB to dig us in a hole? Wtf?

Not to mention, that extra point we didn't feel like taking would be nice right now.

OL is struggling without the center Larsen. Need to put a drive together!! Never thought I'd say this... but leave Jadrian in

Hey, what do you know, Jadrian is moving the ball now that he isn't coming in when it's 2nd and 20.

Aaaaand a stupid penalty.

Terrible performance by the o-line and questionable coaching decisions did us in. We really seemed to let off the gas in third quarter. It was a tough ask to turn around from that tough game last week, long bus ride home, long trip to ND, and go win vs a top 25 team, but I think we could've stole that game with all the injuries ND suffered.

Funny that every time Weber had a big play there was a flag…

Weber had several good drives in that second half that were all turned away by refs whistles. THat defensive pass interference was bullshkick. Also a lot of times UND's receivers left the snap early and it was never called.

Gotta hand it to North Dakota though, their defense is legit. Not offensively powerful but they have now won 7 straight. Time to come back home, lick our wounds and get ready to take on a very good NAU team.

Honestly, if it hadn't been for the 4 turnovers, and the abundance of penalties I truly believe Weber would have won this game……but woulda coulda shoulda.

Bottom line as was said before game...not in this game can that happen & win, with some home cooking help fron the zebras!

I will start out by saying I was wrong about the WSU DEFENSE, They played out of their minds. I didn't realize how one dimensional the UND offense was and their inability to throw the ball, Just horrible! But with that said the Defensive run game of WSU has shut me up, they played great. Unfortunately the Wildcats got absolutely RAPED by the officials in this one. I was sitting in the front row on the 9 yard line and saw both pass interference calls unfold in front of me. The absolute worse calls I have ever seen. WSU stops UND twice and both times the officials stole it back to UND. I have been on this board for years and have never once mentioned officials. If Jay Hill doesn't get fined for questioning the officials on this game something is wrong, Coach Hill needs to to say it like it is. They SUCKED. The officials stole the game and raped the Wildcats in the process of a shot at the conference title!!!!!! Yes Johnson 21# you were robbed of your pic 6, and raped! Now onto the game. Hard to win a game when you have less than 20 yards rushing on Offense. The offensive live got bitch slapped all day long giving up sack after sack and UND was missing their star defensive end for the game. How many QB keepers can WSU call in a game, enough, this is the Big Sky not pop warner ????? Way to many penalties for the second week in a row, but if Coach Hill isn't going to discipline the players what do you expect. Every time Weber surge forward, The officials called a penalty. Unbelievable punt return by Tunney 83# for 50 plus yards they call a penalty, Several first down big plays were called back on back side run plays with chop block penalties, WTF. After running the screen pass a dozen times last week against SUU, surprise, surprise, surprise UND was well prepared for it and shut it down all day. I guess WSU didn't realize that UND does look at film. I was right on special teams. Hintze is a nightmare as a kicker. WSU is still in the game if Hintze can just hit a FG. Something is messed up in this kids mind. I watched him in pre game and he is damm near perfect from 50 yards. Put him in a game situation and he loses his mind. Hintze has missed more FG's than he has made this season. Send him to the Psycharist fast! Way to many mistakes, turnovers and yes the list goes on. When you are playing for a shot at the conference title you can't make that many mistakes. Clarke had some incredible passes. Cam 1# over the shoulder, Denby over the shoulder, 87 up the seam. 33 for TD in the end zone and the list goes on. Clark was running for his life the entire game as a result of the O-line not showing up. Only one dropped pass but it was critical, Cam loses control on a 5 yard out and the DB takes it away from him, WSU loses a chance to score, can't do that! Didn't help WSU had to play with a new 2nd string center this week for his first game. My hopes of Wilkes 13# coming back to play running back this season is shot. Wilkes had a little social call this week by the Ogden PD so he didn't even dress or travel this week. Oh well there is always next year for Wilkes. Oh yea, UND serves Nathan hot dogs at their games not the Smith food store wieners brand at the WSU games! Long trip to lose the conference title for myself and 42 other purple fans at the game. THIS ONE HURTS! I have to stop ranting about this one its over. Off to the 2 gate airport at GF airport. The WIFI is much better than the SLC international airport. :dunce:

THIS IS ONE THAT SHOULD NOT HAVE GOTTEN AWAY... yes, the refs made numerous serious mistakes, yes, the kicker is a head case, yes, the O-Line got beotch slapped all game long and yes, it is hard to overcome 4 turnovers.. All of that played a part in the loss, but one thing only caused Weber to lose. The coaches didn't come in game mode. What is someone thinking to take Clark out on three successive possessions for the first two downs each time? By the time Clark went back in it was 3rd and very long. This signaled to UND that the plays when Cantwell was in were going to be running plays so they packed the box and stopped them. It also told the "D" , when Clark returned that it was definitely a pass. That makes it too easy on the defense. When they first put Cantwell in was when the momentum turned negative. Clark never really came back in to the game with his head right. He is a QB that runs on streaks and when he is hot it is awesome, but when he is cold it is ugly. Moving him on and off the field took him out of the game completely. WHICHEVER COACH MADE THE DECISION TO OPERATE IN THE THRID QUARTER THAT WAY, WAS THINKING WAY TOO MUCH, GETTING WAY TO CUTE. IT IS ALMOST AS BAD A COACHING JOB AS DONE BY BYU'S SITAKE WHEN HE ALLOWED A FAKE PUNT FROM HIS OWN 4, BUT NOT QUITE! The coaches lost this game because if they had left Clark in the game he would have found a way to pull it out like he has done so many times before. What the hell were they thinking?

Penalties and TOs! No matter, we as fans, need to admire the "never say die" attitude shown by the Cats today. Were there some head-scratching calls by the coaching staff? Yes Waaaay to many TOs? Yes! Really suspect officiating? Without a doubt (the Sky needs to censure that crew)! Yet, through it all, our Cats almost pulled off a huge upset. UND is a good team and I wish them luck going forward. They had a little bit more going their way today and that was the difference. Our guys did play one hell of a game and could have pulled out the W. Now come home and get a W against the Lumberjacks!

NCAA, why didn't Larsen play today? He was sorely missed. If he plays, Weber wins that game handily. Tells us all how important a starting center is.
