1st choice would be a military academy. I'm going to the Army Navy game this year but I'd much rather see the Eagles on the field
2nd choice would be a BIG paycheck. The Pac12 games have been great for our program and the bank account!
3rd choice is a Mountain West school for a moderate paycheck and
#4 a MVC school home and away.

I really don't think people fully grasp the amount and quality of talent that EWU and top FCS programs can bring in. Our starters are just as good as nearly any other FBS team's starters.

Hey! Where were you the last two years when I was saying our talent is top tier and most were doubting those statements? Strictly rhetorical; just glad to see it on the field this season.

As far as schedule, would rather see a home game no matter who it is.

I honestly DGAF. I truly believe we can win any game we are a part of and expect us to be competitive in any given game. You all so mercilessly mocked my 11-0 pick at the beginning of the season, but the Eags are an OT interception away from being on that path. I really don't think people fully grasp the amount and quality of talent that EWU and top FCS programs can bring in. Our starters are just as good as nearly any other FBS team's starters.

this!

I'm not dying to play LSU, Alabama, or Boise State etc despite the exposure we would get.

It would be sweet to try and entice Air Force. Given the proximity to Fairchild and the number of Air Force people around Cheney, and Air Force's willingness to play games at neutral sites, maybe we could get them to Joe Albi? I realize that is a snowball's chance in hell scenario, but it would be the only way we could get an FBS team to come to our locale.

The only real issue I'd see with the service academies is that they play old school option football. And the problem with that is the mobile blockers, especially the ones that go low to cut you. Playing teams like these tend to be high risk ventures as it relates to injuries. If we got something like that lined up, it would be smart to do it before a bye week.
