How are the athletic/training facilities at Sac St? If they can use some upgrades than I definitely say apply Hill's philosophy. Play the big boys and play 'em hard. They pay you to play with them. I'm sure Fresno St's facilities have improved or are improving with the paychecks they've received from the big six (BCS) teams they've played. In two weeks, SDSU will play Mich. Mich is paying SDSU slightly over $1 million, "...Michigan is part of a one-game contract in which SDSU will receive $1,016,800 from Michigan to play the Wolverines at Michigan Stadium." SDSU's athletic budget is $36 million. I'm certain that as a mid-major, Sac St's is a quarter to half less than that of SDSU's. Getting that kind money will most definitely help schools like Sac St, SDSU, SJSU, etc which are in a system that is deep in the red. Facilities go a long way w/ recruiting and add to a program's legitimacy. Does anyone how much Sac St is getting from OSU?
The article is about SDSU's game against WSU this Saturday and their record versus BCS teams. It mentions the financial positives of playing BCS schools.

PS I'm not saying sell-out. But if they pay-to-play with them, then why not play them. Not only will the program gain financially, they will gain experience against supposed "quality" programs.
