Who do you want to beat?

I along with lots of Viking fans really want to beat UM but for me I'd really like to get MSU back for blanking us last year, Wlash really messed up that game. So for me...

Montana! To beat the Griz at this point would do the most good for the program. Plus it just feels good to beat the Griz.

I'm comfortable saying Montana...

...though, if you notice my writing during the season, I always take the tack of something like "haven't you heard that [insert team on schedule for this weekend] causes cancer, beats up little old ladies on the sidewalk, and raised your taxes?"

Mind you, we've already tried, and Obie is simply too thick to shut up, ever. It's its problem, and the ability to overlook it makes it not ours.

I'm going to go with the McNeese State game. They are a top 10 team and I think the win or loss will play a big role in us being selected for the playoffs.

Being 2-0 heading into BSC play will be much better than heading in 1-1 for the sake of making the playoffs. Lets face it, we've never won in Missoula since joining the BSC. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to say that we have no chance and will never win there, but we really need to take two out of three OOC games to put ourselves in a prime position for the postseason; regardless of a win against Montana.

I voted for McNeese for three reasons: They have a national reputation, they start the season and they will be a tough game, favored on the road. I can't vote for Montana State because that game is seemingly in the bag. Montana is out because by the time we meet them we should have nearly wrapped up a playoff game (if we beat McNeese) and a loss in Missoula would be meaningless.

i agree that beating mcneese would be great national publicity for us, but Montana is a division rival and if we can pull off a win there, we would have a better chance at winning the conference title and a win against a school that has the national prominence of Montana would be better for our case to make the playoffs
