Green Cookie Monster said:So coach,
If you chatted with baiz last week and that didn't work. Who are you going to chat with before the NAU game?
Currently, I see one coach handling both the DB and Special Olympic teams. In this conference, one coach should be dedicated to each position. When are we going to hire a dedicated DB and ST coach?
Also, what do you predict the attendance to be this weekend?
It's ok to have an ego, just back it up.![]()

Congratulations on the win Saturday. What a roller coaster with the team looking the best they have this season, followed soon after looking the worst they have this season. They pulled it together and got the win . You must be happy and relieved to see the team playing better as a whole. The offensive line is kicking @ss, the defensive is looking much better and making plays, special teams looked better this week. Whatever you've been doing the last week or so, seems to be paying off. McCowen looked like he made a breakthrough with his playing Saturday, finding the holes in the line and making key plays. Hope you rest him a bit this week and let the trainers help him heal.
Would love to hear some of your thoughts about UNC.

Check the stats, Sac State has the third best attendance in the Big Sky. Just think what it would be if you could start winning consistently. And winning consistently will help your resume. You can't blame Sac for lack of financial support, facilities or fan support. All the onus is on you my man.
Super Hornet said:We actually have pretty decent attendance. At least in comparison to FBS schools, anyway.
I just heard on Double XX Sports in San Diego today that SDSU pulled in a whopping 5300 for HOMECOMING.
Hornut said:Interest would also develop if Sactown sports radio talked about the huge win we just had. I can't stand anymore of Kozimor, the really annoying Grant Napier, and the rest of the talk about the big Kings win over Memphis. Give me a break! Especially when I heard Kozimor at Saturday's game because ol'Walk Gray was talking to him. There is no excuse not to talk about Sat's game, he was there. D@mn it Kozimor talk about Sat's game or I'll listen to more ESPN radio than I already do. I mean if they aren't going to talk about everything local, why have a more local sports talk.
d@mn, I miss Don & Mike.
Coach Sperbutt say something funnier next time.

Super Hornet, I checked on this and SDSU had three home games and drew 42k, 22k and 13k. They play at Qualcomm.
Green Cookie Monster said:Coach, how you going to get 40K to a Sac State game when you can't draw more than 5K against the 21st ranked team? And only 6K to the 2nd ranked team?
BTW, Hughes will never be used again by the Hornets. Why suggest play there while Hornet stadium is built out. Sac's stadium is already as big or bigger than Hughes anyway.
Super Hornet said:Hughes is a non-starter. It's in a horrible part of town, which will eliminate fans with young kids. Parking is atrocious there, which will eliminate a lot more.

I take a bit of offense to your comment that it is in a horrible part of town. I have lived within 3/4 mile of the stadium in Hollywood Park for 10 years, and Sac City College is bordered on the east by Curtis Park and the west by William Land Park. Sounds like a real tough part of town. I attended last year's Holy Bowl, which had around 15,000 people, and there were plenty of parents with children there. Additionally, they recently completed a parking structure directly adjacent to Hughes and the parking lot behind it is huge. When i attended the Holy Bowl, it did take a bit of time to get parked, but leaving the stadium was a piece of cake. I am sure it can handle the 6,000 a game we have been getting lately.
I am not saying that Hughes would be the answer, but I am asking that you get your facts straight before you start railing against it.
