Who to watch this year

Usually, by now, I've had the chance to watch the team play three or four times. Regrettably, I have been crazy busy as of late and I haven't had the chance to watch them as much, but what I have seen, is a team that is far quicker and athletic than any team I have seen at Weber State. I'm not saying they are our best overall team, but there is potential with this group. We have all the necessary types, skills, and demeanors necessary for this team to become something extra special. However, chemistry, attitude, and work ethic are necessary keys towards a teams success. With that being said...this thread can be misleading in the fact that 12 of the guys on the team could be the guy to watch this year. That is pretty dang incredible for Weber State. Weber is deep.

I have enjoyed following this thread for a few days without adding my thoughts. But here you go.

Sacstateman - The difference between your crazy posts and oldrunners crazy posts is that he is posting about his team on his teams forum. You like to spread your crazy to all the forums in the Big Sky. We love Oldrunner, while most of us drink the purple Kool-Aid, he drinks purple Jagermeister.

You better watch the whole team this year because there is so much up for grabs this year. It would not surprise me to see 6 players average double figures this year. I am not sure if there is one guy that will stand out this year. I think it will vary from night to night. I would love for us to push the pace this year and show off our depth and athleticism. I hope we will be creative with the line ups. I DO THINK IT IS TIME TO THROW AWAY THE DAMN FLASH CARDS.

Joel - I see him averaging 10-15 PPG. I am calling it right now. Joel will lead the NCAA in rebounding this year.

Gittens - He is the guy I want to have the ball with the game on the line. I love how he is fearless.

Singleton I mean Senglin - He will log the most minutes this year and will be the leader on and off the court.

Golden - will be our new money shooter. However, his open looks will depend on our ability to score inside.

Hill- Will be the guy that shows the biggest improvement over last year. He will play with more confidence and will have much better offensive game.

Coston - I hope there is some minutes left for this guy.

Braxton - Will not redshirt. I hope or else I owe Oldrunner a steak dinner.

I guess WSUProf, talhadfoursteals, and even you webergrad2 seem to agree with my "crazy" posts about Bolomboy's offensive capabilities. Glad to be one of a group of "crazies" who are simply trying to keep oldrunner tethered so he doesn't float off into space.

I wouldn't have it any other way.

Just remember, when Joel has a monster year, you heard it here first.

Bolomboy for president!!! :thumb: :thumb:

Wait...what are we all saying??! We should all be pretty jazzed to watch our PG, you know, the one who was the Fresh of the Year. I'm totally excited to see Senglin light it up this year. He is going to have a monster year. He was cut from the same mold as Lillard.

:+1:

He is so much more poised this year. His scoring may stay the same, or go up a little bit, but the rest of his game will be that much better. This is his team. It starts with him and runs through Joel.

I can't wait for the season to start!! :thumb: :thumb:
