Who's coming to Portland?

Where is everyone meeting up before the game? When I lived in Portland, there were plenty of watering holes by the stadium but last time I was there, a lot of places had shut the doors. Would love to take over a bar with rabid EWU fans and meet some folks from this forum.

The boy and I are coming down Thursday and will pick up 4 Eagles at PDX Friday. Your man bun and skinny pants militia stands no chance against the Spokanites.

Dude, be my guest. Trust me, I've been avoiding the downtown area like a plague, because I know I'd get pissed off and clobber someone. And that's saying something, because I'm about as non-violent as they come. But these rabble-rousers just make me furious. If Spokane fought a war against Portland, I'm fighting on the side of Spokane. When you see these protesters, they aren't mainstream types. They are the fringes of society who don't work, don't produce anything, and rely on handouts to exist. I'm not making that statement about any political party, because no political party deserves to be judged by it's lowest common denominator. And these people are just that: the lowest of the low.

If I remember from my time living there during the Occupy Protests, Portland is full of run-of-the-mill disaffected yuppies, like any other city. These are kids from Beaverton and people who bussed in from Eugene. At least the people who destroy stuff- most of the protestors just want to be heard.

Its too bad the good citizens of Portland don't adopt the philosophy "don't let someone else make you look bad"!

I'll be there obviously. Some of us from the board here will be in Suite 19. My go to before the game is usually the Bullpen ( http://cheerfulbullpen.com/ ) but that's mostly because i used to go there in the PreMLS, PreKIDs Timbers days.

I would recommend you leave your car at your hotel and take an uber.

ewueagle2010,
Thanks for the information. The Team will have walk through, about 08:30am, and depart by Bus about 10:30am. , Thursday Morning. Game is on Friday Night @7:35am We will be there for their departure. Again, should they play to their potential, they will come back with another Victory. 8 - 0 BS, 9& 1 overall. That hick up we had against NDSU, missing a PAT, and a Field goal. Will stay home and watch, already have my DVR Set, ROOTS TV, C-687. To all traveling, have an outstanding trip, return safely. Get ready for the Playoffs. FYI Nov 21st is deadline for your tickets for the Playoffs. Good Luck. Go Eagles!!!!! Vic Wallace

ewueagle2010,
I cheated us out of a Victory, we did finish 10-1, not 9&1 like I stated. We play on Dec 3, @ 1pm, the Winner of Central Arkansas , or Ill. State. Everyone comes to the RED TURF. Go
Eagles!!!!! Vic Wallace

Hey Vic! Sounds like based on what I've heard, most people aren't picking the Eagles to win it all this.year. Guess that means were underdogs just like coming into the season. I like this teams path to Frisco and looking forward to some playoff games!

ewueagle2010,
Seems as if you are right. I have said many times, do not underestimate this team. Hope Cooper can get healthy before the 3rd. It not, we have others that will come through. Guess the Lady is almost finished with the Police Academy. Maybe 2-1/2 weeks? See you on the Dec. 3rd at the game. Vic

Yes, she is nearing the end. Dec 9th is the day!

To All, What I have seen, our team will be back to normal, just couple of our Players are kind of on the line. Zamora and Kurt Calhoun is a little harder for both to get better for the Playoffs. Both injuries were bad. Both individuals want to be in the Playoffs very badly. I wish both of then the best of luck. Cooper Kupp looks like the young man we have been watching for the past 5 years. The rest of the team are all getting ready for Saturday 1:05pm. It is supposed to be cold, and I hope it greets UCA with the coldest cold they have ever felt.:) Go Eagles!!!!! Vic Wallace

Zamora has a bad break in his hammi. He is working trying to get ready, and is hoping he can get well before Saturday. He is out there the last two days doing things to help him get better. It is a struggle. Wish him lots of luck. Vic Wallace
