This whole thread is one big sad circle jerk of whiners...I came over to see if you guys were still talking about the CIT and I find this sh*t...

LMAO

:willybs: :willybs: :willybs: :willybs: :willybs: :willybs:

You came over to see if we were impressed? No we're not.

Not really, just to see if you guys were talking about the CIT still. Sorry but every post in here screams of "butt-hurt"ness and makes you look like a whinier fan base than BYU-UT (which is REALLY tough to do)

Seriously I'd sum it all up into 1 emoticon: :willybs:

Utah State being let in the tourney at 17-15 let alone hosting each game they play in over other teams that deserve them more can be summed up by 1 emoticon :willybs:

You just proved my point

Do you honestly believe that? Go look at the records of every team in the tournament this year, many are very similar and not much better than 17-15. Being over .500 is the pre-requisite, so I think we made that cut.

USU had the highest reg. season attendance of any of the teams in the CIT field, so it does make some sense despite your guys' whining.

:willybs:

Yeah great Idea, lets reward mediocrity just because they "bring" in fans, too bad those great attendance numbers arent showing up in this tournament  last I checked some of the lowest attended games during the Stew Morril era are all occuring during this tournament

Look at these whopping attendance numbers

2,141
2,430
3,546
2,092

Who had tje best attendance in the first round? That would be Weber State not Utah State.

By what, 200? If you guys had been able to beat LMU you would have hosted us in Ogden...but you didn't, and now you guys complain that we got to host LMU. :dunce:

2 of those were during Spring Break, and 1 was on Sunday. Didn't you guys only draw like 2400 for your game? :shocking:

This is all very LooooooooooooooooooooooooL. The CIT is such a pathetic excuse for a post-season. It is really similar to those worthless and ubiquituous bowl games, such as: Idaho Famous Potato Bowl. YES!! Lets put up a banner to remember the moment we were laughed at by the rest of the nation. I wish we could have a trophey that looks like a giant potato or one that spells out "CIT." I'd say give them to Brad or Big E, and try to forget this past season.

These additional post-season tournys are nothing more than a slap in the face. Yes!!! Lets find more ways to reward mediocrity, or pander to the majors by allowing these tournys to continue. It insults those Mid-Major teams that really deserve to be playing in the NCAA Tourny, but can't because the Big 12, Big 10, and SEC each need 9 teams in.

To me, this is absolutely insulting. It's BCS conferences saying, "Since you don't EVER have a chance at winning the national championship, we will throw you some crumbs from our table, and let you believe you are playing for something honorable." LAUGHABLE at best. I know why only 2400 fans showed up to our home CIT game, because the other 4800 were embarrassed that Weber even accepted the CIT's invitation.

If you don't have a legitimate shot at the National Championship, then what exactly are you playing for? If you aren't dancin, it doesn't matter. Who cares about the CIT. Will USU actually put up a banner for the CIT? How embarrassing if they do. Teams with poor traditions would do that. Is USU suddenly on the same level as SJSU? SJSU put up a banner honoring their team that went to the CBI. Huh?? Really?? I expect more from Weber and from Utah State. Maybe that's why the Spectrum hasn't had more than a handful of seats full. Their fans are like every one else, the CIT is nothing more than putting lipstick on a pig. After the lipstick, it is still just a pig that rolls in its own SHIT.

And USU still deserves to host thier games? still not convinced, if you were getting your usuall 8K+ than maybe, but your not. Not only did you not deserve to host Idaho, you REALLY didnt deserve to host LMU.

USU did not deserve it, and while your sitting in the 2,000 attended spectrum game vs Mercer, just think about what I said, Utah State DID NOT DESERVE IT.

USU= :willybs:

Last words by me about this.

But you know whats really sad? In what was supposed to be Weber State's best season ever, they still only went to the CIT! The same tournament that USU got into in it's worst year in 14 years! Not only that, but Weber State didn't even go on to at least win such a terrible tournament, no. Even when you guys had a chance to host USU in the Dee and "punk" us again (USU would have won this time around :kisswink: ), instead you guys lose and complain that the tournament is rigged because you had to go on the road! Now USU is going to the championship in said tournament, and everyone here is BUTTHURT! Had you guys beaten us and won it, there would have been joy all over, but now that you're out...it's a terrible, rigged, crappy tournament. You won't find any USU fans that are happy we are in the CIT instead of the NCAA tourney, however our young team is getting some much needed extra experience, practice time, and getting to end what was a bad season on a better note. They're having fun doing it too. That's what the CIT is all about.

Maybe if you don't lose to BYU by 30, St. Mary's by 20 and Cal by 20, you guys may have had a chance at an at large instead. Then losing to Idaho St. to hand Montana the conf. tournament home games? :ohno:

Also, you're bashing on USU for going to a bowl game?
FCS football is minor leagues, their end of year playoffs is watched by like 9 people worldwide (who don't have a bet on the game), and it's TRULY irrelevant (moreso than the lowly Idaho Potato Bowl, which was watched by 2.4 mil people on ESPN).

Your post is hilarious, WSU's general attitude towards USU is equally hilarious.
:willybs: :willybs: :willybs:

USU loses to Mercer 70-67.

Thank you! Not sure the USU trolls will show up now that their butts hurt. One wonders the IQ of a typical Aggie fan when they go 4 - 11 on the road then act justified to get 5 straight home games in the CIT or start crowing about how tough they are. I mean, if you lose to Texas A&M Corpus Christi on the road that is probably good enough to keep your mouths shut for at least a year. I'm serious. Was there a more humiliating loss for any DI program in this country this year? But for an Aggie fan they can point to our losses against BYU, Cal and St Mary's as somehow being embarrassing. Whose brains work like that? Say it really slow with me Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Texas A&M Corpus Christi ... an non-DI opponent that went 6-24 on the season.

Hang your heads trolls!

I see you're running your mouth.

I won't touch on the other crap you're spewing, but T A&M CC is D1, for what that's worth
