Wk11 Prediction Thread EWU 59 vs. UC Davis 20

By the way Larry gave out code for $15 tickets (wasn't going to go this weekend but that a nice deal so going)) promo code USAEAG

We will need every inch of Roldan Alcobendas size 17 shoe and he will show why he's one of the best kickers in the nation.
17 coincidentally sounds like a good number for UC Davis.
3 fg's 3 TD's for EWU sounds like a good number

30-17 EWU wins

*UC Davis 2 pt favorites as of now depending on sport book

Haley 31 -24 ?? He also states UC Davis scores at will. These two things don't make much sense when put together...

I could see the 31-24 just question who has 31 and who has 24, I don't see a high scoring affair. Our defense is good enough to limit their offense and their defense will give EB3 problems, but our running game will still get their yards.
Kennesaw loses and we move up to #3 behind Weber, who will lose to ISU in their Spud Bowl dome and the Eagles are again Big Sky conference CHAMPIONS!!!
We get the #2 seed...yeah!!!!!!!

Game of the Week: UC Davis at Eastern Washington

Chase: Eastern Washington 51, UC Davis 27

Even with Eric Barriere playing quarterback in Cheney, I think EWU is the more complete team here. Better defense, better offensive line, better depth. We all know how gifted UC Davis is on offense, but to be blunt, there's nothing on the schedule to this point that suggests this team is on this top-tier level. I'm all in if the Aggies prove me wrong in this spot, but look at the wins to this point -- Idaho, Cal Poly, Montana, Northern Colorado and Northern Arizona, alongside a nice home overtime win over a second-tier Idaho State team and a really bad FBS squad in San Jose State. Eastern Washington is the better team and the more desperate team. I feel strongly about the Eagles here.

Sam: UC Davis 41, Eastern Washington 38

Expect a wildly entertaining game with two of the best offenses in the FCS going at it. Right now, I just see UC Davis as the better team. The Eagles are still playing at a high level without Gage Gubrud, but we're talking about a team some consider the second best in the FCS with UC Davis. I think the Aggies are going to come out hot after a wake-up call during their last road game at Montana.

Brian: UC Davis 35, Eastern Washington 24

I just have a feeling about this UC Davis team, like this is the Aggies' year. A lot of things have aligned for the program. There will be some points scored in this one, but UC Davis just about seals things up with a win here.

My brother lives down the street from the stadium and is reporting snow on the ground. Would think that kind of weather benefits is over the Cali kids. Will it make an impact tomorrow?

Supposed to be 37 at game time... a cold wet ball benefits the better run game IMO.. :D

My point exactly, we win by two scores or three, and we keep the Cow College under 30.

The performance will have a huge impact on this game. They need to give a performance of the season from the receivers to get open and make catches, no fumbles.
UCD is +12 on turnovers this season, with a wet field that could also have an impact.
As coach has said a number of times when we win the turnover battle we seldom lose!

Been on the UC Davis board and they are feeling "confident". Good for them. Since this is the prediction thread going to add to mine...

Eastern D has a BIG day and holds Davis to a tick over 350 yards. Expect Tiuli, Williams, Mitchell to live in their backfield and man coverage to compliment the attack. Our seniors lead the way with focus, determination and intelligence. HC Best grows into the position today by winning a truly big game against Hawkins who has won a lot of games. Respect.

Home game on the Inferno? Senior day?
52-14 EAGS! Remember who called it!

I will be glad to buy you a beer if you are close with a 38 pt spread. I'd love to see it. Unfortunately, I think UC Davis is the best team in the Big Sky not named Eastern Washington. We struggled with Weber, and on the whole, I think UC Davis is quite a bit better than Weber. I feel like Eastern can and probably should win, but I think this is going to be a tight affair.

I think Dopa owes somebody a beer.... :D What a win! We had several believers. The D was magnificent barring two plays for 115 yards. Gave up 395 total, only 280 w/o those 2 runs... That is NUTS...
