I figured I would post an announcement about this game on here because we sure as hell aren't hearing about this game from our marketing department. I know, I am beating a dead horse here :dead: but come on! It was WSU AD Jerry Bovee that said "We are excited to bring in a opponent of this caliber :blah: :blah: we expect a GREAT CROWD for this game and expect to break the WSU Single game attendance record... :blah: :blah: :blah: " NEWS FLASH Folks, you should have probably started marketing for this game several months back.
This game will have a great crowd i am sure of it, unfortunately the VAST MAJORITY of the crowd will be wearing the Green and Yellow of the Bison. When will the marketing department EVER be held accountable for their LACK of Effort? :dead: :dead: :dead:
Point of rant= WSU Marketing BLOWS!
Here is a link to the NDSU fan board if anyone cares. http://www.bisonville.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?19-Football" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I'll definetely be there cheering the Wildcats on to Victory.

Yeah definetely be ready to see a wave of yellow and green at the game, I bet there will be more NDSU fans at the game than the amount of fans UM usually brings to Ogden.

Im just glad that we are able to schedule these games, a future game vs Northern Iowa and maybe even South Dakota State would be nice

I'll be there and I'm sure I will be bringing a good number of family along. Gotta do my part to fill the stadium with purple and white even if athletics still hasn't figured out how. Gotta wonder what athletics is thinking. :wall:

I am hoping a friend from work will go. He is a Aggie fan but he talked about going to our game and cheering for us because the kind of team will are playing.

any thoughts on the upcoming game?
I think the score will be something similar to our first game versus Arizona St. NDSU is probably on par with ASU and they beat us by 31. If Weber loses by less than that I would be satisfied.

I'm not saying I don't expect a pretty good thumping to be put on the kitties Saturday, but I certainly don't see this years NDSU on par with this years ASU. I guess we'll find out, but I sure like to think NDSU won't be able to coast by halftime. Regardless, I wouldn't put ISU in the same class as ASU, especially this year. NDSU has a nice F[BS] win streak going but I don't believe any of them have been against top-20 teams and most seem to be perennial middle-to-bottom of their conference pack teams.

I'm very interested in this game, I think it will speak volumes about what we can expect this season. If Weber were to lose by 31 (again) I hope NDSU would have had to put in 3+ quarters to do it. Anything less than a 3 TD loss and I think Weber and fans have reason to be excited for the new, competitive Wildcats.

Everyone on here agrees. So write him an email or visit him in person. Im sure if enough people contact him something has to be done.

A lot of the Bison fans overlooking us, cant really say I blame them, I dont think Iowa State is on the same level of Arizona State, and had we scored in the first quarter the score would have been 45-21 ASU.

Regardless this is gonna be a very tall task for this young Wildcat team, I dont expect a win on Saturday, but I hope to see the Wildcats make the Bison respect us by the end of the game.

Im thinking the final score will be something along the lines of 40-28 in favor of the Bison.

the defending big 12 champs last year, that are #20 this year is a perennial middle to bottom feeder?

NDSU has not given up more than 27 points since December 11, 2010. I highly doubt this will be the week that particular streak is broken

It probably wont be, but anything is possible.

But seriously, Weber's biggest marketing asset right now is one Jay Hill. He's young, charismatic, excited, and a local. They should have this guys face and voice everywhere promoting this game and season.

Yeah, KState is not a perennial middle to bottom feeder, but they did end the year in the middle of the conference at 5-4. I do think NDSU would be top 25 if they were FBS.

I believe I said 'most', as in this year's opponent Iowa St. and a few others with similar struggles: Colorado St., Minnesota. My point was I don't see NDSU on par with ASU, especially this season-- if you do, great, your team has it going on right now.
