WSU vs. Sac St - Free on BigSkyTV.org

Thank goodness conference play starts this week, I have to admit i don't know much about the Hornets of Suckaramento this year. The starting QB played for UCLA last year and started in the bowl game vs BYU.
Hornet "D" seems to be playing tough. Still I'm going to say WILDCATS by 14.
WSU's "O" is just way to powerful for the Suck St. defense

Trouble is, you guys have not won here in SAC(K)ramento in 10 years. Which is the same when we play at Stewart. And I wouldn't go off about the Suck State comments....other than a good year here and there, you guys have been record-wise the same as us.

Ultimately, I think it comes down to the secondary play. Our linebackers are very, very good and and young DL is coming together really quick (DE Christian Clark was named Big Sky Def. POW today with 2 sacks, a fumble forced and recovery as well as 6 tackles).

Bethel-Thompson is our backup. Our starter is Jason Smith, he sat out Saturday with an ankle that was still a little sore from the CSU game and why waste it against Southern Oregon. The same went for Hilliard our starting RB.

We both should have had FBS wins, though our game against CSU we definitely should have won because we were leading until 1:26 to go (Hawaii wore you out in the second half).

It will be close, but the Hornets pull it out in the end.

WSU 24

I think that Weber will finally get a road win in Sak town this weekend with a 7 point win. The final will be WSU 28
SAC 21

You're wrong, the UCLA transfer is not the starter. Smith is the starting QB, he's much more efficient than MBT. Both Hilliard (starting RB) and Smith (starting QB) sat this last game out, we didnt need our starters to beat an opponent like SOU or Dixie. Hilliard will bowl over your D line and LB's while Wilkins will just juke his way down the field. Our LB's are three of the best in the country, nuff said.

It should be a great game, at least I hope so. I'm going to have to say it's going to be the Hornets by 10. :)

Pussycats 17

This might be true, but the D-Line and Secondary need some work. I watched the game and NAIA Southern Oregon moved the ball pretty well against their defense. They gave up 231 passing yard and the QB went 16-24, Higgins is going to have a hay day. I will agree that Sac's offense has pick it up but their defense still has miles to go.

We have some problems with the spread (what SOU ran) and Coach Mac runs the two-back offense. The QB from SOU was at ucd before transferring and Bob Biggs' coached quarterbacks have always given us fits.

That's why our secondary needs work (against the spread). Im not sure what game you were watching with our DL.

Sac Fans,

Weber has a share of 2 football conference championships, never out right - 1965 and 1968. Dixie St's head coach who by the way is an old man, was part of that 1965 team - lol.

So the average fan doesn't think we will steam roll past anybody too easily.

125-127 vs the Big Sky

We are 8-4 all-time vs Sac St in football.

I think the difference between this season and other WSU seasons is this yr the fans are expecting big things from the offense so losing at Sac doens't seem to likely. Our fans are looking past the Sac game to the Montana game...but I'm not saying that is what the team is doing. I'm sure they are very concerned with Sac.

WSU has averaged over 40 points per game since almost the middle of last season til now.

Sac is ranked higher in FCS right now. I think your #39 and WSU is #41.

The real test for anybody will be against UM and EWU.

Hey hornet, against Hawaii two of our starters did not play the second half. The best RB in the Sky for the last two years did not play the 2nd half and the top kick returner in the conference did not play the 2nd half. Your D line will need the help of the backers to stop Smith from running all over the place. You really can't tell what type of a team either of us have by the first three games. All of them were either should have won or should have lost.

Did you see how our DL and LB corps held the two CSU backs to under 100 yards? Smith is good, very good. But not to the level of what we saw at CSU with Gartrell and Bell.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Sac State things that they are going tohave a chance against our team. There D is so tough. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Have you not looked at what our team does with the ball. It is called marching. We do one thing and we do it very well, WE SCORE. We have the best RB's in the conferance. T. Smith is going to kill your front 4. You are going to have to bring 8 in the box to attempt to slow that bad assss down. When you do that we have the top WR duo in the conferance in Ta Ta Ta Timmy Toone, and Cody Nakamura. Those two are going to eat your DB's up. Then we have NFL prospect, and three time all big sky FB (and new daddy) Marcus M. He is going to blow up all three of your LBs multiple times. THey are going to have to be told what there names are on monday after he gets done with them. Then there is Big Cam. Higgins. There is nothing to say about that man other then future Walter Payton winner, and all-american. The term STUD should be used.
Our front four on the D. will get to your QB all day. I am putting the Over/under on sacks at 4, and knockdowns at 10. He will be screaming to be taken out. Sac State get ready for an asssss whoopin, because when the Cats come to down, they are hust simply going to beat you up and down the field.

I don't know whether to laugh at you or this post

Weber is 2-1 vs Sac with Coach Mac.

2005: W 26-14 Attendance: 9,036
2006: L 24-21, at Sac. Attendance: 7,184
2007: W 26-7 Attendance: 3,342 (snow storm...ask the Sac St marching band! I felt bad for em, they weren't prepared for the weather!)

I don't know whether to laugh at you or this post

All I know is that I will be laughing all day on Saturday when everyone in the conferance see what a joke your team is. You see I think half of your O-line double as your cheer squad, I saw them in their cute little green and white skirts when you played SO. Or. I have seen Pop-warner kids cover better then your DB's. So yeah I will tell you what to laugh at, it is your chances of coming out of the Nest on saturday with a win.

Sad thing for Hornets is that even on the Suckramento fan board, some of the Hornet faithful are predicting a Hornet loss.
After the game, hornet DB's will need to seek therapy to get their confidence back when Higgins and Co. light them up all night long.

I really dont think you guys are being realistic here, the only way your going to be able to move the ball is in the air. Unfortunately our DB's arent that experienced and they may let a few get by, but not as many as you think. Mulitalo, Brannon, and Hickman are going to eat yor RB for dinner, and dont forget about the pass rush from Clark. It's true that up to this point in the season the BBQ U brood has done well offensively, but that's all about to change.

I'm looking forward to a great game.

WSU fans kill me! Your team is never good, no one goes to the games and you still talk trash. At least the Montana fans have a reason to act as if they know something, you guys need to wake up!

Hornet win on Saturday!

What do you want us to say that Weber sucks and Sac is going to kill us, that we don't have a chance because Sac got beat by the worst team in the Mountain West and an NAIA School gave them all they can handle. A win is a win but please Sac should have rolled Southern Oregon by 45 and the excuse that we didn't have are starting QB and running back is ridiculous against a team like that. Now I'm not going to waste my time raging on your poor attendance and the fact that Sac is yet to have a winning season in the Big Sky but I will say that all fans are homers if your not your not a fan, remember this is for fun and if you are taking things that personally you may want to consider not participating in fan forms.

We have had one winning season in the Big Sky (5-3 in 1999) and one .500 season (4-4 in 2006). It hasn't been stellar all the other years, but at least back up the smack with facts. It just makes one's argument less credible.....

gowildcats, it was'nt just our QB and RB that was out. We had 7 starters out, our third string RB gained over a hundred yards. It's not nice to blow teams out and run up the score, but in this Saturday's game I think Sperbeck is going make an exception.

We used back-ups in the SOU game, unlike the Pussycats that used their starters.

GOOOOOOOOOOO HORNETS!!!

Stung, wow man you must get some good weed up there in that cow town of yours, :D Give me a break you really think Suck St. is going to run up the score?
you Suck st. fans are too much, when I read your posts i just cant stop laughing at how retarded you guys are. Are you related to Bengal fan? just askin.
