WSU vs UM Game Thread

This is called the "John Zamberlin" effect on defense, he should never be allowed near the sideline. I hope we are not headed in the same direction as ISU with him on staff.

Blowout, and I'm out. Can't watch this undisciplined, heartless team anymore.
And everyone on here always calls me a hater when I get down on these guys.... But I absolutely agree with you. They gave up on the season during the second half at the Southern Utah game. Now they are taking two steps back every week. They won't win another game. :wall:

I agree. Defense has been very weak since the EWU game. Time to go with one and only one DC. Mac needs to let one or both of them go!

What can we expect next week? Another 35 point beating from a MT school? Ugh.....

Well...we are only as good as our coaches.

Well, Mac just singled out the D line for the loss. I don't agree
This was a team loss, D line can't score points,
Secondary got nuked all day, and O line couldn't block Casper
If he showed up. Watch the film coach, then throw your players under
The bus. Look at your Coordinators before you sellout your players,
Well, that was the old Mac before, the players' coach. Guess
Things have changed, team wins credit the players and team loses
You look at your staff.....Nuf sed

Well coaches can only do so much, If the players don't want to show up and play then we wont win. The whole defense didn't show up. 237 yards rushing and only 1 sack isn't a great performance, neither is 308 yards passing. The d-line needs to get pressure on the Qb to help out the secondary. It really does start with that front 4 and if they aren't hungry we wont win.

your stats are right, and in the 2nd half the defense held Montana to 1 TD, it would have been nice for the offense to show up. great blocked punts in 2nd half and we can only get 3 points between the 2 blocked punts deep in Montana territory. let's call it as we see it, the backers need to step up and make some plays and the secondary is getting nuked on every long pass...but if you want to hang it on the D line, it's your call. You must think that 10 points against Montana is acceptable, and the only TD was scored against their 2nd and 3rd string defensive unit...just in case you weren't at the game.

GO WILDCATS, PLAY FOR PRIDE
