#2 EWU at FBS Toledo Game Thread

some more info on kupp, yes it appears he is in ohio just not suiting up for this game. it sounds like the original injury might be worse than previously thought and he could be out for an undisclosed time. dont take this as gospil though.

doesn't require any sign ups or log ons?

The link through the MAC website? No, it does not.

I'm about to head out to the game. Here's to a good, injury free game. Hopefully UT is able to get out to an early lead and doesn't let EWU stick around, but I'm not too confident about that.

To All,
Reference Injuries. Kupp and Bronson did practice this week , Kupp, Wilson, and Bronson did make the trip to Toledo, however Wilson will not play shoulder problems, Bronson said he was supposed to play. Kupp stated his pain was so so. Jake Rodgers stated his injury was not as bad as they taught, MRI had nothing new, hope to be back for Weber State Game. Wilson is hoping he can heal fast so he can get back into the line up soon. Well we have "Larry Weir" the best Radio Announcer in the NW to listen to, he does an outstanding job as our Radio Announcer. Go Eagles!!!!! Vic Wallace

The tailgate show talked about Kupp's injury and said it would be something to keep an eye on during the game. Hmm.

In all honesty, I would prefer any banged up players sit out this game and be healthy for the Sam Houston game. Toledo is a big game, but Sam Houston is much bigger.

Bigger in the sense that SHSU is an FCS game, and beating them would go a long ways towards a good seed assuming we can take care of business in the Big Sky. That said, a win in either game counts towards playoff eligibility (we only have one of those so far), and neither is a conference game. So all in all, they're about the same IMO.

Yeah, I would say this win would be bigger than SHSU for the program. Beating another FBS team would generate more noise for the program than beating a good FCS team. Has an FCS team ever beat two FBS teams in one year?

Yeah, NDSU a few years back. CMU and Minnesota I think.

Bronson, in. Wilson, out. Kupp in uniform.

Pulu out? :( How did we get so many injuries playing WOU?

It's like I mentioned before when we were talking about getting more injuries when playing FBS teams. I actually think we get more injuries playing "down". Generally not as good technique=more chance for injury.
