#2 EWU at Washington Game Thread

I know for a fact that UW returned 9 starters of defense, and were touted as having 3 first rounders on that defense. NT Shelton, LB Hill, and DB Peters. I really do believe the Eastern offense is that good. Big games like this only makes your team better, and both the offense and defense will benefit down the road from this game. GO EAGS!

I agree with Talon38. I believe the defense will improve. I also think this is a great team that will once again sweep the BSC. Think of it this way, most people on this board think Montana is our main competition. Do you really believe Montana would not have gotten totally rolled by the Huskies?

I know Shelton is considered an early first-round projection. He beat our OL a few times, but in the whole, the interior line did a great job neutralizing him. Peters is a little overrated, IMO. I'd be shocked if he projects into the first three rounds if he comes out.

But I have no idea who the other guy is? Timu and Thompson are their two stud LBs, and I'd assume Thompson is the real prospect. Thompson and Shelton are probably the two best individual defensive players Eastern will line up against.
