2011 Offers

With school starting this Monday, there should be some Saturday pickup games to take in. I really like our team. Randy is building it the right way and they are going to be fun to watch. Can't wait!!
Did you actually get to watch any of the "pick up games" that took place this past weekend? Thoughts on Baker anyone? What about the unknown named visit next weekend?

The Dee has not been available, due to install of the new scoreboard, then they replaced a bunch of cables, and last the floor was re-finished. I think the floor should be ok to go sometime this week.
Not sure if where the team plays when the Dee is not available is accessible to the public?

They usually play at Swenson if the Dee is not open. I've been out of town each weekend recently and have not been able to see them play. I will try to drop in Friday afternoon, but the next few Saturdays are out for me. I want to get a look at the new guys, I just haven't had a chance yet.

What about Collette? Has he made any decisions? Was anyone else looking at him, or did anyone else offer him a scholarship? I'm guessing he is going to wait to see if BYU offers him a scholarship. Poor deluded duder.

I got over to watch the pick up game at the Dee this afternoon at 3:00. Everyone was there, including Shai Fields. I think he is going to be a good get for us. He seems like a really nice kid and he is very tallented. His mother was there, as well, and I got a chance to talk to her. She is a very nice and extreamly successful business woman. His father is in town also, but was not there. Mrs. Fields told me that Shai's dad was a great player in college and had some NBA tryouts back in the 70's. Shai is now 6'3'' and still growing. His mom thinks he will end up about 6'5'' or more. His mom and dad want him at Weber State. They really like our coaches and the program. I think that there is a great chance that he will commit. Our new freshman looked good, Damian looked like he always does, and, as a whole, we looked pretty dang good.
