Thanks for the comments on Jude. We pastor a church in Chula Vista. Spent 13 years north of Spokane in Trail, BC Canada, where Jude was born. We have great friends in Spokane also. Just need more frequent flyer miles!

According to the Seattle Times "chip list" Jordan Pulu is listed as going to Eastern. Anyone able to confirm that?

Man I hope that's true. Our LB corps next year is going to be filthy next year and years after. :nod:

Wecome aboard! As we have found in the past year, our son Todd has experienced wonderful guidance and oversight from the coaching staff. I could not be happier entrusting him to their care....and Pastor Bob!
I remember last year at this time, and what an exciting period for the boys.. and parents. Congratulations!

Has anyone kept track of the recruits and walk-ons that joined the team last year. I can think of a few that played in 2011 as true freshmen but what about the rest? How many are still with the team? Progress?? Potential contribution to the 2012 team??

Scout now has Drew Sharkey, Ferris HS DL 6-2/218** as having verbaled to Eastern. Sharkey, whose dad is Ferris' coach was a first team all state d lineman. ( Eastern recruits Jordan Pulu LB, Cooper Cupp DB and Miquyah Amora DB were also first team AP all state). It is shaping up as an outstanding recruiting class.

Scout.com learned Tuesday night that Drew Sharkey, a 6-2, 220-pound athlete from Ferris High School in Spokane, has verbally committed to Eastern Washington over offers from Air Force and Central Washington.

"He is excited, he liked it out there when he has visited," said his father Jim, who also happens to be the head coach at Ferris. Sharkey is being recruited as a defensive lineman, although he played a number of positions for the Saxons in 2011.
