there is an outside shot Pulu could end up here next season but as of now everything i have read points to him going to wyoming as he wants to play with his team mate Olive. Still, the prospect of being able to play with your brother has got to be pretty enticing to a kid. If I were a seattle area kid that had a chance to stay in-state and play on the same team as my brother for 2 years or go to laramie, Wyoming I think that's a no-brainer. But still, these kids do get sold on the FBS thing and there is also a ton on negative recruiting done out there particularly against FCS schools like eastern. The truth is that WAC or Mountain West schools don't really get that much higher caliber kids than the Big Sky schools do, they just get more of them because of the higher scholarship limit.

I don't think any of those were players that UW was recruiting. Jordan Pulu was one who I think was impacted by that and it sounds as if now he will end up at Eastern Washington, where his brother, Andru, is now. Both are from Federal Way High.

Well, I hope Bob Condotta is right, for once. He certainly wasn't right when he predicted the Huskies would beat us by 40 points, or whatever his ridiculous claim was.

Speedy Orange Lutheran running back Jabari Wilson (5-11, 200) has committed to FCS Eastern Washington, Lancers football Jim Kunau reports.

Wilson rushed for 630 yards in 2011. Eastern Washington offered him a scholarship last month.

That we know of, yes. There's likely others that haven't been reported yet. As for how many total, I'm not sure. Definitely not as many as last year I don't think.

Thanks for the links Larry. Seems similar to last year in that the Eagles come up with good kids that will build the program. Not always on every-bodies radar but just good athletes and good contributors to the program.

I am not 100% sure if that is against the rules or not, and you never know what changes between now and Feb 1. Ranger has a couple of them listed for sure. But the key point is that the coaches are filling the spots with who they have been after, and will hopefully be filling all the openings on NLI Day!

The rule basically states that the University cannot comment in verbals until signing day. Players can comment on verbals, usually through the media.....nothing wrong there.
