Adding some more beef to the O-Line.

Dan Ryan a 6-3 270 lbs O-lineman from O'Fallon High School tweeted today that he has committed to UNC

(@M3AT_WaGON)
After11 years, and a dream of playing division 1 college football,I have decided to further my career at the University of Northern Colorado

He is listed as 2 star OT on Scout with offers from Kent State, UMass, Tulsa, and Western Kentucky.

1st Team All Southwestern Conference and 1st Team St. Louis All Metro.

We can't sign enough O-Linemen, but it looks like he is set to visit New Mexico next weekend.

Looks like Ralston Valley QB Jason Knipp had his official visit over the weekend. On the Rivals website be mentioned he was impressed with UNC. He's going to CSUP next weekend. Just a few more weeks until LOI day.

Rumor has it that QB Brock Berglund has transferred from North Texas to UNC.

Former 3 star QB coming out of high school. Originally committed to Colorado but decommitted and signed with Kansas. Left Kansas after true freshman season and ended up at North Texas. Don't know exactly how much eligibility he has left at this point.

Yikes. This is his 4th school? No thanks. :ohno: :ohno:

Berglund is former Valor Christian QB. Has 2 years eligibility left, having used 1 at Kansas, 2 at UNT. Officially, this is only his third school.

And his little brother is on the roster? SMH. Brock is no angel. Seems like trouble just follows this kid. I'm hoping Rubs beats everyone out for the starting spot.

Yes his little brother is on the roster. Will be a redshirt freshman QB this year. I agree that trouble does follow big brother. I hope he doesn't bring it to Greeley.

Heard nothing but bad things about that Berglund kid.... reminds me of Cutlip back in the day which didn't work out that kid ended up causing us to forfeit a few games.

But.... we need talent any way we can get it. If the kid doesn't throw pick 6's every week I'll be OK with it.

A little more on the rivals interview with Jacob Knipp

His official visit-

I was really impressed. I think they are definitely turning things around. I was really impressed and loved my stay. They definitely made a good impression on me.

On a scholarship to UNC or a walk on opportunity at CSU-

I thought about it but with a substantial offer from UNC, I'd probably take that offer over a walk-on
.

This is turning out to be a solid recruiting class. I like it! However, it's a bit concerning that these players are coming to UNC because of the coaches. I hope they all realize that baring a miraculous season (.500 or above) this coaching staff won't be around much longer. Never to go to a school because of the coaches because they come and go at every school. Reasons to pick a school: 1. Academics 2. Tradition.

This is one of the smartest posts I have read in a long time. If your a local boy (CO) and don't have much talent for an FBS school I guess UNC is pretty attractive.

Nick Johnson (6-1 217 lbs) OLB out of Mount Carmel High School in Chicago verbally committed to UNC today. Reportedly also had an offer to Wyoming.

This is Jr year film. His Hudl profile did not list a public Sr year highlight.
