Looks like we can add a good sized running back to the list of verbals:

Jason Talley
Jesuit High School
6-2 215

Related to Jordan? Great size on this kid for an RB. This goes back to the conversation we had earlier where I wanted to see us get a kid that can be a 25 carries a game guy if need be. We haven't had that in a long time. The great thing about this kind of kid is that the size and speed are good, so if he doesn't pan out at RB, you've got a ready-to-go LB.

For what it's worth, I thought this guy was one of the best kids in the state of Oregon this year. Seems like a can't miss prospect and a great add to the team.

Like that he played at a big time Oregon program, so the video tells the story on HUDL. The tale of the tape says OLB... unless the Eags are lining up in the I formation or triple back set like Jesuit. Pray he doesn't end up at TE. You could be right Dopa, either way glad to have a player of his caliber on the team. He'll look good on the Red either way.

Add to the list:

Antoine Custer a 3 star All State RB from De La Salle

Saw the Facebook pic, he has several D1 offers per Scout. De La Salle is a big time program. Is this one of those GPA flyers? 3 star.

http://www.scout.com/player/194988-antoine-custer

could be a prop, but hope not. we had that 4-star rb out of the bay area a couple of years ago that never panned out.

A couple of offers within the past 24 hours:

Calin Criner CB 5-10 185 Rocky Mountain HS Meridian, ID https://twitter.com/CalinCriner?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Kyle Urbon WR 6-0 187 Gib Harbor, WA https://twitter.com/KyleUrbon23?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Great list so far. Lots of size for the OL recruits---would like to see more recruits on D for obvious reasons so hopefully we'll see some more guys commit on that side of the ball. Custer is a great pick up at RB.

Looks like Hughes took the Baker Mayfield/Luke Falk route and walked on at A&M rather than take a scholly at a smaller school. Hell I wish I had the money to do that, but best of luck to him. Wonder if we will get a QB in this class now. Can't wait until signing day.

When I see commits to Wyoming whether it be on our site or others I just scratch my head and wonder what the hell are they thinking? I was in Laramie this fall and my God why would a young person want to spend 5 years of their life there???????

i hope things pick up the last 2 weekends. 9 verbals doesnt seem like a lot at this point in the game. Maybe there's some that havent been reported yet.

RB Antoine Custer 5'8 176 Concord, CA (De La Salle HS) EWU Verbal 3-Star
RB Jason Talley 6'2 215 Portland, OR (Jesuit HS) EWU Verbal 2-Star

EWU's new Thunder and Lightning?

Certainly hope so!

Are there a certain number of floaters that didn't get the offer they were hoping for from a FBS school or they got their offer pulled at the last minute? Maybe the coaches are strategizing for this possibility.

Still 2 weeks left with probably only 8-9 scholarships left to give out. Still plenty of players that have yet to take their official visits. It's more of a waiting game at this point with the coaches and seeing who goes where. I'm honestly more interested in the quality of the guys that we have signed so far rather than the number. Assuming all the verbals hold true, we have a really nice list so far. I think our main needs at this point are LB and in the defensive secondary, and of course, we need to sign a QB.

Some recruits just want to play FBS football. I've read about recruits who chose Eastern Michigan just because it's FBS instead of taking offers for places like Youngstown State.
