2018 Offers (recruiting)

I know it was PBP last year but he quit the football side after Kramer left the program so he could concentrate on his articles on Women basketball. I think it is Bengalbanmann now on football but he stop posting Mid way through the season when we started to lose. Maybe, Bhumble is interested. He is a long time die hard fan. He would be good at it.

Scott's brother, Steve, played for Capital High School and then went on to be a four-year starter for the U of I as an offensive lineman. He graduated from there several months ago. Unfortunately, both of their parents passed away several years ago, and subsequently Scott lived with a foster family in Wilder and he went on to play for Homedale. Perhaps Scott's brother may try to encourage him to play for Idaho.

What is accurate? Why did you leave the football side? You were doing a good job as the administrator.

....so somebody help me please.....I think I heard there's an early signing period....like December 20 to Dec 22nd....is that correct ?....If so....and if some folks sign with ISU during that.....we should be able to get a glimpse of what Coach Phen is thinking his priority needs are.....am I thinking right ?....or way of base.....someone's thoughts please.....(side note...The Grizz are on "page 59" of their recruiting thread...we are on "page 4" of ours....you think they are a little more "into it" ??.....i'm just sayin'..... ....)....

Yes there is an early signing period this year, Dec. 20-22. It will be interesting to see how that is utilized by ISU. I suspect a lot of prospects ISU would be in play for will be waiting until February to sign, hoping for other options. We shall see.

Hey I’ve done my part to get us to page 4 lol haha

I think many of us just like to see who is being recruited,
honestly I have no clue how the process works or what sets a kid apart from the crowd other than a star rating.
Some great players in the league could be at 3 stars when they’re recruited that much I know, I don’t know if we have a single star rated player on the team....

I am also interested to know what is going on with the coaching changes any news could be a new thread

....thanks Skippy for clarifying how I thought it was.....and the reality is ....I think you are "right on" in the way you are thinking it might play out this year.....we just have to keep plugging away.....1-if the athletes keep doing their part ( staying through the summer, etc)....2- the coaches keep looking for the "diamonds in the rough".....(got lucky with Skyler Phillips when he "dropped down" to us in the recruiting process from Oregon State if memory serves me correctly)...and 3-we keep working to improve facilities, etc ("Sic'em Joe Borich...lol..)............we'll get better...it's simply a grind.....

....and demian.....yes...you are correct...you have definitely helped get us to "4".....i'm working to get us to "5" right now......
