Ellison has a Wyoming offer. Oshuoha missed his senior year with an injury, but has a Cornell and an Idaho offer.
 
The class is looking VERY strong this year. I'd still like to see a DT transfer in the mix that can be an impact player. Still, I don't see any Big Sky team recruiting on our level this year. Excellent work by the coaching staff.

Not sure he has the frame. HUDL has him at 200lbs and 247 at 220lbs. I like that he gets North South in a hurry, and can show a little patience (like McPherson) at times. Like him and Micah at RB. Can't rule anything out though.

Think we pull in Emmanuel Osuoha at LB. Got some good LB's last year in Ojoh and Cale and picked up Sise as a transfer. That'a a pretty good looking triumvirate.

McPherson was the first person I thought of as well or maybe as a FB if we ever go back to a "I" formation.
 
Is Sise planned to be an LB or a safety? Perhaps that rover position we utilize in the 4-2.

Last year was the first where we didn't use a 4-2 base for a lot of the season.
 
Anyone else out there struggling with the feed? Got to work early, got my spread set out excited to watch and cant seem to get it to load.
 
I was trying to watch through bigskytv....... they had technical difficulties all morning so I got some bits and pieces. Signed an impressive RB out of LA Tiquan Gilmore. His Hudl tape is impressive. Shaping up to be a good class. Gilmore and Lewis could be Lightning and Thunder at RB.
 
Pretty good route running in the video, shows some hands. Perhaps ability to play some WR not just RB. If at RB seems like we have a lot at that position on the roster....
 
My guess is Idaho will be our biggest threat to winning the BSC. They picked up one hell of a class this year, one can hope some of these players are non-qualifying.. Yes, am wishing bad things on the Vandals. Might as well start the former Governor's Cup game smack talk. Their first BigSky game is against UC Davis and should be a good measuring stick.

Their RB is 5'9" 240lbs and was HS Mr. Football runner up in FLORIDA at the 5A level. Can anyone say Jerome Bettis? His feet aren't quite as good, but this isn't Notre Dame either.

The classes Eastern has had the past 4 seasons are good enough to keep us in the hunt for the Natty. Let's see what the OC can do with a season under his belt and a seasoned OL, senior QB and loads of talent. Not holding out any hope that the defense will improve given the on again off again jekyll and hyde nature. Like Grinch's take on defense at WSU "get the ball back, if we give up a few big plays, it doesn't matter because of the big time offense". Prefer it to the bend and break that has been employed.
