We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

2019 Big Sky Games

i dont think there has ever been a quarterfinal with even 3 big sky teams let alone 4, but i dont remember every post season. i hope it happens.

Friday:
Montana (-2.5) at Weber State
Austin Peay at Montana State (-6.5)
Northern Iowa at James Madison (-19.5)

Saturday:
Illinois State at North Dakota State (-23)

Montana State has been rolling and I guess I’m not totally sold on Austin Peay yet - at least I can’t see them as a final 4 team. I think MSU covers that spread while acknowledging their QB could implode and lose the game if they have trouble getting the run game started vs a solid defensive front.

I’m leaning towards Northern Iowa covering 19.5 points. Their defense should be able to make the game ugly, at least for a while. They need their QB to extend plays and make some improvised throws because they can’t run the ball. And frankly, that QB isn’t good from the pocket. I can’t imagine UNI winning but they do have a very good defense that should keep them in the game.

Illinois State won’t have a scoring drive of longer than 50 yards. Their defense will have to be completely dominant if they’re going to hang around. They literally can’t pass the ball so I don’t see how they cover the spread. They got a lucky draw in the bracket and should be happy to be here.
