2019 Recruiting: 16 Signed LOI

Question...does EWU still refrain from going after JUCO players? My son will be graduating from College of the Siskiyous this December and is looking for a school to transfer to. Talented, good character kid who's gotten his academic situation in order (Dean's List Fall 2017 and President's List Summer 2018). I know two players there at his position are Seniors this year, just trying to find out if it would be worth suggesting he talk to them or not.

What is the downside to talking to them?

Good point, worst they could say is they're not interested. Sure would help me out with him getting to come back to Washington and only pay in state tuition!

Wonder how the early signing period will be impacted by the Eags Co Championship. Can't say I'm up to speed with the available talent, plus there are already more CA commits than recent years. Not to mention Eags will be busy playing in the playoffs for the early period.. Good problem to have. Let's hope the commits sign early. A lot of seniors on this team, should be many places of need.

Eags are deep. Was thinking it would be nice to continue to have that depth. Thinking 2011.

Well now that Maine has been taken care of....isn't it time to ramp this up?
Early National Signing Day 2018 will run for three days from Dec. 19-21

Looks like we can add a linebacker to the list:

Brock Harrison

Kinda light?

Not sure myself. Only signed 8 early last year, one was a Navy transfer. Per these players ratings they would all be in the top 20-25 all time. When programs step up the talent level of player recruiting historically, those players are inclined to wait to the final bell before committing; in other words, they play their cards pretty close to their vests. Going to assume the coaches know who is a strong lean Eastern and working that pipeline of players hard right now.

Also think there is some talent in the Spokane area that may be available to steal from lesser programs if any positions fills are a miss.

Does anyone know how many scholarships Eag's have to give? Pretty deep team.

There’s more, I just don’t know who they are. Without something on social media or one of the recruiting sites it’s hard to say.

For what it’s worth, 247 has Lincoln Victor from Union High as 100% EWU on their predictions, although I don’t think he’s committed yet.

Hey, is there any broadcast today? Twitter or other of the signing's? Nothing on WatchBigSky but UND.
