2019 Recruiting: 16 Signed LOI

Was the big LB from Pasco visiting this weekend? If we can get him on board as well, that would make for an amazing LB pairing.

Yes, especially at the FCS level where linemen are not as quick as FBS. Although Samson has been VERY successful in the NFL.

He's going to need 20+ more pounds to become Ojohesque :), but love him as big, strong Rover/Safety now. Great numbers on the bench and good squat. Agree this is the type of player who can really excel at this level. Tremendous depth add to the roster when he signs in Feb.

AJ Vongphachanh 6'3 235lb lb who plays at Chiawana from Pasco is a stud(EKG) If we land him he'll be a star from the get go. His coach Steve Graff has sent many players from his teams to EWU. He played at EWU.
AJ has offers from EWU(offer 4/18)/Utah St./Air Force/Dakota Wesleyan/Linfield and Georgetown thus far. So when have been on him early and if he want to win a National Championship and win a bunch of games in the process and all the while having fun and your family close by to watch all your games..EWU is the place to go AJ..no brainer. EWU gets guys to the pro's..bank it! EKG man

I don't know if this Athlete is one of the 9 committed. His name is Sebastian Gomez. from Salinas, Ca, 6-1, 255lbs, Defensive Line. Received an email from a very reliable individual friend stating he as committed to EWU. The LOI is on Feb 6, don't know time it what time as yet. It is normally in the am, held at Northern Quest. My guess is that there was some issue that precluded the Simon Fraser kid from getting into a D1 school. Either that or a girlfriend who lives in Vancouver. Otherwise, that is a strange college choice given the offers he self-reported.

As for Georgetown, if the kid wants into law or poli-sci, it’s a great school.

Hey Dopa, 247 has Jaeger at 210 lbs.. LB. Love how he beats the OL guys on his HUDL. One RS year to get his man size and turn him loose. I think Eags have several good LB's sitting there already assuming they stay eligible, healthy and willing. Great depth add.

Wonder if the Schmedding move to Boise will effect any of those who haven't signed. Would hate to see someone decommit and go Blue.
