Damn! Was hoping the AZ players on the team and his HS teammate coming would sway him to Weber. But USU came in with a late offer. And with most kids, they'll take the FBS offer all the time. What's unfortunate is high level FCS is often a better opportunity. Oh well, best of luck to him.

Four days to signing day and only three commitments that we know of. I know this was going to be a smaller signing class, but seems like a lot of kids sitting on the fence waiting for FBS offers. That can be good, I guess, since it means Weber is recruiting only the best FCS level talent.

Totally agree. I’m really sad about losing Lane but hope he has a great career in Lolgan. No matter, I’m extremely confident in Coach Hill and his staff. They don’t have a lot of open scholarships. So, they are probably being very picky.
