Not beat out at all. Probably just a PWO offer from Weber. At most he wasn't a top priority. Dixie was his best offer and he was smart to take their offer.

I kind of assumed we offered a PWO by the way he phrased his tweet.
 
The two things that we don't know about many of these 'Offers' is if it is a PWO or a grant offer and if the player is a potential missionary. We know that we don't have many grants to give out and that is a limiting factor, But if a player is going on a mission, that is not a grant for the next two years. A PWO can also come in and earn a grant for the following year. The kids we have signed and committed are really good players. Many of the ones still on our list are great players as well. In the past, we have had many PWO players make good and become contributors at a high level. No program ever gets all of the players they want, but we have brought in winners over the past 5 years. This year will be the same. :coffee:

This young man has real potential, in my eyes. He has the size and speed to be a great safety or outside linebacker. He also seems to be solid fundamentally. He reminds me a lot of Scott Schields and he turned out pretty good.

Two days to NLI day. We should see a few more commitments by then. :coffee:

BYU just offered this kid as well. Are they following us around? This makes the third O lineman they have jumped on right after we make an offer. Looks like they are trying to fix the same things we are. :lol:

Hasn't committed anywhere yet. And says BYU has given him an "opportunity," which sounds like a PWO offer.
 
Weber doesn't seem to be doing to well this year in recruiting. Most are either committing elsewhere and some guys they went after seem to be way better then FCS kids. Overall I'm disappointed so far but hopeful of Chritchlow or Hagen coming to us. We need a good QB desperately!!!!

Not surprised. He has several PWO offers from P5 schools. Probably waiting to see if any of those can turn into a full ride.
