2020 Offers and Commitments

Between Strom, Johnson, and Atagi we have added some serious size to the offense.
Strom reportedly had offers from San Diego State, Rutgers, and Kansas. Don't know the nature of those offers, but that is some good company.

Looks like Strom might be good enough to be a starter at TE. If he proves to be so, I hope they will make Justin Malone a wide out. With Shaeed and Cooley's quickness to open up the field I think this move would really improve the passing game.

One thing is for sure; a two TE formation will not be an automatic run play. I'm excited about our offense being as good as our defense. I don't think teams will be loading the box against us this year. :coffee:

This is intriguing. If he is good enough to land a starting spot that would say a lot regarding upgrading the pass game from the TE position, something I think has been sorely needed second only to a more mobile, multi-threat QB. Indeed, the thought of Strom, Johnson, and Atagi impacting the the offense this season (if there is one) is exciting to think about.

Reading through Strom's history with Basketball, he may be able to get an additional year of football eligibility. It looks like he had a RS year and a year that he didn't play much, if at all. Changing sports and schools may be enough to get another year.
