I like the class that was brought in. Heavy on the defensive side which is the immediate need going forward. Looks like there is loads of size and talent in the group. Should be interesting to watch as things move forward with this program.

“University of Sacramento State”
“University of Louisiana State University”

I already read the article before and disagree with you, he had a visit with the Hornets on January 31st, after UNLV, being able to be groomed my an ex NFL QB in Troy Taylor and probably at better route for him to start playing then UNLV, where they already have other good quarterbacks in front of him. Also, right after the visit at Sac State, two experts are predicting 100% that he comes here, hmm, maybe one of them had a chat with him. anything could change, but my gut goes with the two experts in this field who predicted it.BuckeyeHornetFan said:I think Yaro Duvalko ends up at UNLV.
Apparently he was very wow'd by their facilities and the new stadium they'll play in, along with the Raiders.

Don't forget about that HUGE factor. I'd expect to see UNLV start nabbing some really nice recruits over the next few years. What kid wouldn't be wow'd by a near 2 Billion dollar stadium????
What other college team has the advantage of playing home games in a stadium like that? The U of Miami shares with the Dolphins at the newly renovated Hard Rock Stadium. And I believe some of the Texas schools play at Jerry Jones Stadium from time to time, but not all their home games.
It should be a pretty nice recruiting advantage for UNLV. And they've got a new HC from our local area here.
My thoughts exactly, I’m sure coach Taylor sold him on this as well. Go to UNLV and have no idea where you are in the pecking order or know you have a legit shot to be the man in a high powered offense to showcase your skills, no brainer. And remember, Thompson gets hurt sometimes.Kadeezy said:There’s no real heir apparent to Thomson’s throne, this makes perfect sense - and might be the guy Taylor wants to have with him as they solidify the Hornets as a perennial power?

I’m just super excited to see coach Taylor possibly have a very good talent to groom for years to come ,watch Thompson for a year, then hopefully he will be ready. I have watched coach Taylor for many years what he can do with qb’s, Dano Graves & Jake Browning, we are very lucky to have coach Taylor and the staff he put together, enjoy while we can.Kadeezy said:Sac_hornets said:My thoughts exactly, I’m sure coach Taylor sold him on this as well. And Dunniway will be a JR. in 2020, available to spot start if needed, but pretty much everyone agrees we need a long term QB in the program...
This Wednesday is signing day, so obviously anything could happen between now and then. His Twitter account has been quite so far. Probably many other teams trying to sign him as well, including Cal Poly.Green Cookie Monster said:When will he actually sign something binding? Is it basically open anytime to sign now?
