They are actively whining at aggiesportstalk.com about some of recent signings, and why they would choose Sac over Davis.

I chose Sac over Davis (I got into both), and have tried to explain it to them. Problem is, they can’t hear too well with their heads that far up their own asses.

Their UCD education isn’t impressing much when they can’t comprehend that (a) a university like SAC ST just might be a better option depending upon field of study and (b) some student-athletes just might be balancing several priorities in making a decision.

I’m sure UCD is a fine university. IDC how renowned it is. I personally wouldn’t choose it over a myriad of other options. Same goes for the prestigious IVY league schools. There are many, many reasons why.

We all make choices for different reasons. The holier than thou superiority complex some have about their school choice is laughable to me. Those people weren’t educated as well as they like to believe.

We also don't like rapey bands and baseball teams on this side of the Causeway...and there is less livestock to court here as well. Sac State is just not a good fit for those people.

not sure if this is the right location for this but here you go...
From Cameron Salerno Five of the 7 top-ranked players from the Sacramento area (via 247Sports) from the 2019 class have entered the transfer portal:

Laiatu Latu, Washington
Isaiah Rutherford, ND----Arizona
Kaiden Bennett, Boise State---Nevada---Sac State
Joey Capra, SDSU
Zac Welch, Nevada---ARC

Your straight to text translation of his tweet confused me at first, as I thought Kaiden Bennett was in the portal again. However Salerno means that each of those players have at one time entered the portal. Not all are actively in the portal. There is an “arrow” graphic in his tweet that indicates where the player ended up that isn’t included in the text translation..

24/7 has him as 3 star. Twitter he is listed as LB, 24/7 as a RB.

I just came here to add this commit to the list. But you guys are already on top of it. Nicely done!

If you watch his highlight mix tape, it’s looking like LB is his #1 position.

He looks pretty good. Maybe a replacement option for Marcus Hawkins?

Zelmar Vedder #28 DB Modesto Junior College

This one slipped past me back in November.

A 6’3 corner than runs a 4.41.

Super exciting! Especially for those who remember the days of all the diminutive DB’s we always seemed to have.

We may already have Hawks replacement in Armon Bailey! He is a stud. Was hurt this whole season but came back I believe in this last game on special teams and made a nice tackle. He is big and fast. Hoping he gets one of the backer spots!

I’m very curious to see where Anthony Garcia will go, I believe it is between Sac State and Eastern Washington, I would love to see him on the Hornets, but he might choose Eastern because of all of the QB’s at Sac St. I also got to wonder if some QB’s may be turned off by coming here because of how we are currently using the duel QB right now.

Wow, you’re right! Maybe he changed his mind really quick, or maybe he wants to wait until tomorrow to reveal his intentions.

He just announced that he was offered by SJSU. That could be another option, if not the favorite to land him at this point.

Everyone is wondering what Jackson State has up their sleeves for tomorrow…
