I believe this is one of those gray areas in recruiting. When I was involved in coaching an NCAA staff could not announce a commit themselves until they were a signee, but you would see all these tweets about “BOOM” or something that the staff would put out indicating they got a commit. You’ll notice that the SacHornetsFB page is not ever the ones announcing the commit themselves and I don’t believe the coaches are either. The graphics are posted first from the players page and then I’ve seen the Hornet staff and Co. do retweets which could be that gray area. And hence why you saw Agiye post his graphic like all the other FBS commits we’ve had.Good catch, maybe to avoid the negative backlash about the weed arrest on a larger scale? Nothing is real until the "Signed" release comes from the school, even then, dudes walk/get walked off all the time. lol
